- • Write, execute, and maintain test cases for new features and existing functionality across the product suite
- • Perform exploratory testing to uncover unintended behaviors and edge cases not covered by scripted tests
- • Conduct regression testing to ensure existing features remain functional after code changes
- • Execute smoke testing at critical stages of the development cycle to validate core functionality before releases
- • Build and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright to increase testing efficiency and coverage
- • Report bugs with clear, actionable details including step-by-step reproduction, expected behavior, actual behavior, and priority levels
- • Collaborate directly with developers to clarify requirements and identify potential quality issues early in the development process
- • Participate in team discussions to improve QA processes as the engineering and product teams scale
- • Ensure test documentation is up to date, accessible, and aligned with current product behavior
- • Validate that software meets defined acceptance criteria and user expectations before deployment
- • Monitor test results and analyze failures to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions
- • Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing standards, workflows, and tooling within the QA function
- • Work independently and proactively to manage testing responsibilities across multiple product components
- • Maintain a sharp focus on user experience by testing from the end-user perspective
- • Adapt testing strategies based on changing product priorities and release timelines
- • Communicate testing status and risks clearly to product and engineering stakeholders
- • Identify gaps in test coverage and propose new test scenarios to mitigate risk
- • Support timely delivery of high-quality releases by adhering to sprint cycles and deployment schedules
- • Maintain awareness of product updates and feature changes to ensure test cases remain relevant and accurate
- • Uphold a culture of quality by advocating for user-centric testing practices across teams
- • Document testing outcomes and metrics to inform product decisions and process improvements
🎯 Requirements
- • At least 1 year of experience in QA or software testing
- • Solid foundation in manual testing and test case design
- • Hands-on experience with at least one automation framework: Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright
- • Ability to write clear, actionable bug reports that developers can easily understand and act on
- • Natural inclination to think in edge cases and identify issues others overlook
- • Nice to have: experience testing SaaS or HR tech products
