• • This position is ideally suited for candidates located in LATAM, Africa, and Eastern Europe. As we serve U.S.-based clients, a critical requirement is the availability to work during U.S. business hours, specifically aligned with the Eastern Standard Time (EST) zone (9 AM - 5 PM EST).
• • As a QA Tester, your primary responsibility will be to champion quality assurance efforts across multiple dynamic web applications and digital products. This role demands exceptional organizational skills, a solid understanding of testing methodologies and tools, and the ability to meticulously test complex systems without requiring coding expertise. You will work hand-in-hand with product managers, engineers, and designers, fostering a collaborative environment to guarantee accuracy, reliability, and strict adherence to specified requirements throughout every software release cycle.
• • **Key Responsibilities include:**
• • **Comprehensive Testing Execution:** Conduct thorough functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing across diverse web applications and digital products. This involves meticulously crafting, maintaining, and executing detailed test cases, comprehensive test plans, and robust test suites to ensure complete test coverage and identify potential issues before they impact users.
• • **Defect Management and Resolution:** Proactively identify, meticulously document, and diligently track all defects using industry-standard bug-tracking tools such as Jira. Once fixes are implemented, you will perform rigorous validation and re-testing to confirm defect resolution and prevent the reintroduction of previously resolved issues (regressions).
• • **Cross-Functional Collaboration:** Engage actively with product managers, developers, and designers to gain a deep understanding of requirements, clarify ambiguities, and ensure the overall quality of the product. You will be responsible for providing clear, concise, and timely reports on test progress, coverage status, and key findings to all relevant stakeholders, facilitating informed decision-making.
• • **Support for Automation Initiatives:** While coding is not a requirement for this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting automation efforts. This includes maintaining and executing existing automated test scripts, leveraging your technical understanding of automation tools like Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress to ensure their effectiveness.
