- • As a Product QA Tester, you will be an integral part of our client’s QA Team, working remotely from Brazil. This is a pivotal role where you will partner closely with one or more product teams to meticulously monitor and enhance the quality of their products. These products are critical, serving hundreds of thousands of users daily, encompassing both internal tools and external-facing applications.
- • Your primary responsibility will be to collaborate intimately with client engineering teams. This collaboration ensures that all key features and significant product changes are developed precisely according to specifications and undergo rigorous testing before any release. You will be the gatekeeper of quality, ensuring that what reaches the end-user is robust, reliable, and meets the highest standards.
- • A crucial aspect of your role involves improving post-launch quality. This means you will be actively involved in investigating bug reports, analyzing their root causes, and working with the teams to ensure that the highest-impact issues are identified and prioritized for swift resolution. Your insights will directly influence product stability and user satisfaction.
- • You will be instrumental in developing and executing comprehensive test plans. This includes designing test cases that cover various scenarios, from functional testing to regression testing, ensuring that all aspects of the product are functioning as intended.
- • You will perform meticulous manual testing across different platforms, including native iOS or Android applications, web applications, and APIs/backend services. This hands-on testing will uncover defects and ensure a seamless user experience.
- • Your role will extend to understanding and utilizing build management tools such as GitHub, Bitrise, and Firebase. This familiarity will enable you to efficiently manage builds, track changes, and ensure smooth deployment pipelines.
- • You will gain practical experience with development environments by navigating Xcode and/or Android Studio. This will allow you to build, run, and debug mobile applications, providing a deeper understanding of the mobile development lifecycle.
- • You will also be expected to demonstrate comfort and proficiency in using the terminal or command line. This skill is essential for various testing and debugging tasks, allowing for efficient interaction with the system and its components.

🎯 Requirements
- • 2+ years of experience using QA tools, including Jira or any bug tracking software, Test Management tools (such as Xray or TestRail), and GitHub, Bitrise, Firebase for build management.
- • 2+ years of experience in manual testing, specifically in test planning and testing native iOS or Android apps, web apps, and APIs/backend services.
- • Comfort navigating the terminal/command line.
- • Familiarity with Xcode and/or Android Studio for building or running mobile app.
- • Basic experience executing and/or writing automated tests within a framework.
- • Comfort using Postman and/or Proxy tool (such as Charles or Proxyman) (Nice-to-have).
- • Ability to navigate an IDE and run SQL commands (Nice-to-have).
