• • This is a future opportunity, currently in the proposal stage, for a full-time remote position within the United States. While the role is primarily remote, occasional travel may be required. To be considered for this position, US Citizenship is a mandatory requirement.
• • We are actively seeking a motivated and skilled Quality Analyst to support the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA). • • As a Quality Analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity, functionality, and performance of complex software and hardware applications. Your primary responsibilities will involve interpreting intricate requirements, meticulously crafting quality control measures, and developing robust user acceptance test plans. You will be instrumental in upholding the highest standards of quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
• • Your day-to-day activities will encompass a wide range of testing methodologies and responsibilities. You will be tasked with evaluating, recommending, and implementing cutting-edge automated test tools and strategies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. A key part of your role will be to design, implement, and conduct rigorous test and evaluation procedures, ensuring that all system requirements are not only met but exceeded.
• • You will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and upgrading automated test scripts and architectures for our application products. This includes writing, implementing, and reporting on the status of system test cases, providing clear and concise updates on testing progress and outcomes. Analyzing test cases and providing regular progress reports will be crucial for stakeholder communication and decision-making.
• • Furthermore, you will serve as a subject matter specialist, lending your testing expertise to support user requirements for complex to highly complex software and hardware applications. Your deep understanding of testing principles will be invaluable in guiding development teams and ensuring that user needs are accurately translated into functional and reliable software.
• • You will also direct and/or participate in all phases of risk management assessments and software/hardware development. This involvement will have a strong emphasis on the analysis of user requirements, meticulous test design, and the strategic selection of appropriate test tools. Your proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks will be essential in delivering high-quality solutions.
• • We are looking for candidates who can bring a strong background in various testing domains, including Java application testing, performance testing using tools like JMeter or LoadRunner, and experience with automation frameworks such as Selenium, Cucumber, and FitNesse. A solid understanding of automated testing processes, 508 accessibility testing, functional testing, integration testing, full regression testing, and cybersecurity testing is highly desirable.
• • A basic understanding of Java coding is also beneficial, as it will allow for a deeper comprehension of the applications being tested and facilitate more effective collaboration with development teams.
