📋 Description
- • As the Quality & Training Lead for Jerry Technologies Inc., you will be instrumental in shaping the success of our Sales and Service teams within the Contact Center Operations. This pivotal role goes beyond routine oversight; you will be the architect of our quality assurance framework and the driving force behind our comprehensive training programs. Reporting directly to the Senior Manager of Contact Center Operations, you will own the entire lifecycle of quality and training, from initial design and development to ongoing optimization and implementation.
- • Your primary responsibility will be to build and scale a robust Quality Assurance (QA) program. This involves developing meticulous call audit processes, creating effective scorecards that clearly define what constitutes exceptional customer service, and establishing calibration sessions to ensure consistency and fairness across all evaluations. These processes must be meticulously aligned with both regulatory requirements and the specific standards set by our insurance carriers, ensuring we maintain the highest levels of compliance and operational integrity.
- • A significant part of your role will be dedicated to educating and empowering our team members. You will design and deliver comprehensive training curricula for new hires, transforming them into knowledgeable and confident insurance professionals. This includes in-depth product knowledge, mastery of our internal systems and tools, and the development of effective sales and service techniques. Furthermore, you will be responsible for creating and implementing ongoing training initiatives for our existing team, ensuring they stay up-to-date with evolving product offerings, industry best practices, and customer service excellence.
- • You will take full ownership of the insurance licensing process for our team. This includes developing effective preparation support materials and strategies to help agents pass their licensing exams, as well as diligently tracking progress and ensuring all team members are fully credentialed and compliant with state and federal regulations. Your proactive management of this process will be critical to maintaining our operational readiness and legal standing.
- • A key aspect of your role will be to analyze performance data and identify trends. By leveraging insights from QA audits, customer feedback, and overall team performance metrics, you will pinpoint specific skill gaps. These insights will then be translated into targeted, "just-in-time" training interventions designed to address immediate needs and drive continuous improvement across the team.
- • You will also be responsible for the strategic management of our internal knowledge base. This includes creating, updating, and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), developing practical job aids, and designing engaging e-learning modules. Ensuring that our team has immediate access to the most accurate and up-to-date information is paramount to their success and our ability to provide seamless customer experiences.
- • Collaboration will be at the core of your success. You will work closely with our Legal, Compliance, and Carrier Relations teams to ensure that all new regulatory requirements, product updates, and carrier-specific mandates are effectively operationalized within our training and QA programs. This cross-functional partnership will guarantee that our operations remain compliant, competitive, and aligned with strategic business objectives.
- • This role offers a unique opportunity to build and shape critical functions from the ground up within a rapidly growing insurtech company. You will have the autonomy to implement innovative solutions and directly impact the performance and development of our customer-facing teams, contributing significantly to Jerry.ai's mission of making insurance simple and accessible.
🎯 Requirements
- • Minimum of 3 years of experience in insurance operations, encompassing roles within an agency, brokerage, or carrier environment.
- • Possess an active Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance license, or demonstrate a strong willingness and ability to obtain one rapidly.
- • At least 2 years of proven experience in a training, quality assurance auditing, or performance coaching capacity, with a demonstrated passion for fostering individual and team growth.
- • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and translate findings into actionable coaching and training plans.
- • Excellent communication skills, capable of simplifying complex insurance concepts and regulatory information into clear, concise, and actionable guidance for front-line staff.
- • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and a proven track record of building processes and programs from inception.
🏖️ Benefits
- • Competitive base salary ranging from $90,000 to $120,000, commensurate with experience.
- • Opportunity to receive equity in the form of stock options, aligning your success with the company's growth.
- • Fully remote work environment with provided equipment to ensure a comfortable and productive home office setup.
- • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance plans to support your well-being.
- • Generous paid time off (PTO) and paid parental leave to support work-life balance and family needs.
- • 401(K) plan with employer matching contributions to help you save for retirement.
- • Access to wellness benefits designed to support your overall health and happiness.
