- • Join SimonMed Imaging, Inc., the fastest growing outpatient radiology practice in the nation, as a Remote Radiology Coder to support accurate and timely coding for diagnostic imaging services.
- • Perform medical coding for radiology procedures using CPT, ICD-10-CM, and HCPCS Level II codes, ensuring compliance with federal and payer guidelines.
- • Review clinical documentation from board-certified subspecialty radiologists to assign appropriate codes for diagnostic and interventional radiology services.
- • Maintain coding accuracy and productivity standards while working remotely in a fast-paced, high-volume outpatient imaging environment.
- • Collaborate with billing and clinical teams to resolve documentation queries and support clean claim submissions.
- • Stay current with coding updates, regulatory changes, and radiology-specific coding guidelines through ongoing education.
- • Contribute to revenue integrity by minimizing denials and maximizing appropriate reimbursement for services rendered.
- • Uphold patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA standards in all coding activities.
🎯 Requirements
- • Certified Professional Coder (CPC) credential from AAPC or equivalent certification (e.g., CCS from AHIMA).
- • Minimum of 2 years of experience coding diagnostic radiology procedures in an outpatient or hospital setting.
- • Proficiency with CPT, ICD-10-CM, and HCPCS Level II coding systems specific to radiology services.
- • Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and radiology terminology as documented by subspecialty radiologists.
- • Ability to work independently and meet productivity and accuracy standards in a remote work environment.
