📋 Description
- • Drive sales and territory growth for a new therapeutic option targeting narcolepsy type 1, a rare neurological sleep disorder, by executing effective sales strategies and tactics.
- • Collaborate closely with the Regional Business Leader and other customer-facing teams to ensure healthcare providers (HCPs) are thoroughly educated on the product and its benefits.
- • Facilitate patient access to this novel therapeutic option post-regulatory approval, ensuring a seamless experience for those who can benefit.
- • Establish and cultivate impactful, long-term relationships with targeted HCPs and key accounts within your assigned geographic territory, fostering trust and open communication.
- • Play a pivotal role in the successful introduction of a new product in a new therapeutic area for Takeda, contributing significantly to the company's expansion and reputation.
- • Develop and maintain deep clinical expertise, including comprehensive disease state knowledge of narcolepsy type 1 and the orexin system, as well as in-depth understanding of the approved Takeda orexin therapies.
- • Execute approved, on-label sales and marketing plans with precision, leveraging strong selling skills to achieve ambitious monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals.
- • Proactively manage all business-related activities within your territory, with a relentless focus on achieving sales targets and advancing the diagnosis and treatment of Narcolepsy Type 1 (NT1).
- • Engage specialty customers, including sleep specialists, neurologists, pulmonologists, sleep centers, and associated clinic staff, providing them with critical clinical information and product education.
- • Strategically analyze local, regional, and national business trends, utilizing data-driven insights to identify business opportunities, assess strategic priorities, and tailor regional and local business strategies to evolving market dynamics and specific customer needs.
- • Develop and implement comprehensive territory plans, demonstrating strong prioritization skills and the ability to interpret analytical data to create effective sales strategies.
- • Utilize the CRM system diligently to document account profiles, develop detailed pre-call plans, and accurately record post-call activities, ensuring efficient territory management and follow-up.
- • Manage your territory budget responsibly and in strict accordance with all Takeda compliance policies and ethical guidelines.
- • Foster strong partnerships with internal cross-functional teams, including Patient Access, Market Access, and Marketing, to ensure alignment on strategies and tactics that support both customer needs and business objectives.
- • Provide valuable feedback to Sales and Marketing leadership based on real-world territory insights, contributing to the refinement of sales tactics and overall performance.
- • Cultivate a collaborative culture of accountability and engagement with cross-functional team members, enhancing collective performance and impact.
