- • Join Hangar Aviation Technologies, Inc. as a Recruiting Automation & Ops Engineer and play a pivotal role in transforming talent acquisition through engineering-driven automation—designing scalable systems that power end-to-end recruiting for fast-growing global clients while building a long-term, remote career aligned with US time zones.
- • Your work will directly impact hiring velocity, candidate experience, and data integrity by replacing manual, fragmented processes with intelligent, connected workflows that scale across multiple roles and markets.
- • Day to day, you will build automated sourcing "bots" and multi-channel outreach sequences that generate qualified candidates continuously, using tools like Clay, Zapier/Make, and AI coding assistants to create feedback-driven optimization loops that improve response and conversion rates.
- • You will develop a market intelligence "tripwire" system that monitors competitor hiring, talent movements, and compensation trends in real time, delivering actionable Slack alerts to keep recruiting teams ahead of market shifts.
- • You will design and implement an internal referral/backchannel system that maps employee networks and surfaces warm introduction opportunities, turning passive connections into active talent pipelines.
- • You will automate interviewer and candidate preparation through prep packets, interview guides, triggered communications, and seamless ATS/calendar integrations to elevate the interview experience and reduce no-shows.
- • You will lead the redesign of the careers site with compelling storytelling, realistic job previews, and conversion-optimized application flows to improve employer branding and application completion rates.
- • You will enforce ATS data integrity by building validation rules, exception reporting, and cleanup workflows that ensure recruiting data remains accurate, reliable, and actionable for stakeholders.
- • You will collaborate closely with recruiting, engineering, and hiring managers to identify pain points, prototype solutions, and iterate rapidly based on user feedback—operating with high ownership and flexibility beyond a strict 9–5 schedule when hiring demands require it.
- • You will thrive in a remote-first environment, leveraging fluency in Slack, Zoom, Google Workspace, and Asana to collaborate effectively with US- and UK-based teams, bringing prior remote work experience as a non-negotiable foundation for success.
- • You will grow your expertise at the intersection of recruiting operations and software engineering, gaining hands-on experience with AI-assisted development, API integrations, workflow automation, and data-driven talent strategy—positioning yourself as a rare hybrid talent in high demand across tech-forward organizations.
🎯 Requirements
- • Proven ability to whiteboard and explain how you would implement automation projects for sourcing, outreach, market intelligence, referral systems, interview prep, careers site optimization, and ATS data integrity—demonstrating systems thinking and practical execution.
- • 1+ year of experience as a dedicated sourcer or recruiter, with deep understanding of pipeline mechanics, candidate experience, and recruiting operations fundamentals including ATS hygiene, process design, reporting, and stakeholder enablement.
- • Non-negotiable prior remote work experience; fluency with remote collaboration tools (Slack, Zoom, Google Workspace, Asana or similar); and ideally experience working with US or UK-based companies—applications without this will not be considered.
