- • Own and drive the regional go-to-market strategy for Proofpoint’s fastest-growing portfolio—Enterprise DLP, Endpoint DLP, CASB, Insider Threat, Browser Isolation, and DSPM—across Public Sector (SLED), Commercial, and LATAM markets. You will translate corporate objectives into a localized, data-driven plan that delivers double-digit ARR growth year-over-year.
- • Lead, mentor, and scale a team of 7 high-performing Data Security Specialists who are already averaging >120 % of quota. Your coaching cadence will include weekly deal clinics, quarterly business reviews, and individualized development plans that turn “A” players into future sales leaders.
- • Be the executive sponsor for the region’s top 25 accounts, quarterbacking complex, multi-stakeholder deals that routinely exceed $1 M in TCV. You will co-sell with field reps, present to CISOs and CIOs, and negotiate enterprise license agreements that set the standard for the broader sales organization.
- • Build and maintain a rolling 4-quarter pipeline that is 3× coverage of quota. You will enforce MEDDICC rigor across every opportunity, inspect weekly commits, and publish a forecast that finance and the board trust to within 5 % variance.
- • Architect and execute partner-led plays with top VARs, GSIs, and regional MSSPs to unlock net-new logos and accelerate expansion in existing accounts. You will co-author business plans, allocate MDF, and host quarterly partner summits that generate >30 % of regional bookings.
- • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales Engineering, Professional Services, Product Marketing, and Customer Success to deliver seamless proof-of-concepts, rapid deployments, and measurable ROI stories that fuel reference selling and Gartner/Forrester case studies.
- • Evangelize Proofpoint’s human-centric cybersecurity vision at industry events, regional CISO roundtables, and customer advisory boards. Your thought-leadership will position Proofpoint as the undisputed leader in data protection and insider-risk management.
- • Champion a culture of accountability and continuous improvement rooted in Proofpoint’s BRAVE values—Bold, Responsive, Accountable, Visionary, Exceptional. You will celebrate wins loudly, conduct blameless post-mortems, and ensure every team member feels seen, heard, and empowered.
- • Leverage Salesforce, Clari, Tableau, and other BI tools to surface actionable insights on win/loss drivers, competitive displacement opportunities, and whitespace maps. You will present findings monthly to the SVP of Worldwide Sales and influence product roadmap priorities.
- • Travel up to 40 % across the region to meet customers, partners, and team members face-to-face, ensuring relationships remain strong and deals stay on track—even in a remote-first world.
🎯 Requirements
- • 8+ years of quota-carrying enterprise software sales experience with at least 3 years leading geographically dispersed teams in cybersecurity, data protection, or SSE markets
- • Demonstrated track record of exceeding $20 M+ annual quotas and scaling regional revenue by 30 % YoY
- • Deep fluency in MEDDICC or similar value-selling methodology and proven ability to coach reps to best-in-class execution
- • Strong technical acumen—comfortable articulating DLP, CASB, Insider Threat, and DSPM use cases to both technical and economic buyers
- • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; MBA or relevant advanced certification preferred
