📋 Description
- • Lead and scale Workato’s Sydney-based sales team covering the ANZ region, managing both Enterprise and Commercial Account Executives from prospecting through post-sales growth.
- • Own the Go-to-market vision, strategy, and execution for ANZ, ensuring alignment with global objectives and regional market dynamics.
- • Drive direct customer acquisition and expansion while actively cultivating and aligning with key regional partners to maximize Workato’s market presence.
- • Oversee daily sales activities and performance metrics of Account Executives and first-line sales leaders, providing coaching and performance feedback to drive results.
- • Build, recruit, hire, and develop a high-performing sales team through structured talent acquisition and career development strategies.
- • Optimize the sales cycle by identifying bottlenecks, implementing best practices, and sharing scalable methodologies across the broader sales organization.
- • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and role-based learning to elevate team capabilities and operational efficiency.
- • Collaborate closely with the APAC General Manager to ensure regional goals are aligned with the broader APAC and global growth strategy.
- • Maintain deep expertise in integration, middleware, automation, or enterprise software markets to effectively position Workato’s iPaaS platform to enterprise customers.
- • Leverage proven experience in scaling software businesses in the ANZ market to expand market share and revenue within a high-growth tech environment.
- • Champion Workato’s flexible, trust-oriented culture by empowering team members to take ownership of their roles while balancing productivity with self-care.
- • Represent Workato as a trusted industry leader, leveraging the company’s recognition as a Forbes Cloud 100 company and Deloitte Tech Fast 500 honoree to enhance credibility and market positioning.
- • Support the operationalization of AI-driven automation through Workato’s cloud-native, enterprise-grade platform, ensuring customer success and retention.
- • Contribute to building a dynamic, high-performance sales culture that attracts top talent and sustains long-term growth in a competitive regional landscape.
🎯 Requirements
- • Proven track record of scaling a software business in the ANZ market, including sales, people, and first-line leaders, ideally within integration, middleware, automation, or enterprise software
- • Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding a country/region quota
- • Passion for mentoring Account Executives to help them grow in their careers
- • An enthusiastic team player who’s comfortable working in a high-growth environment
- • Experience managing enterprise sales teams and partner ecosystems in ANZ
- • Deep understanding of SaaS sales cycles and customer success in cloud-based automation platforms
