Regional VP, Contracting

📋 Description

• • As Regional VP of Contracting for CarePlus, you will lead the development, operations, and financial performance of a regional health plan, driving strategic provider network initiatives that align with enterprise goals and improve member outcomes across Florida.
• • Day to day, you will negotiate contracts with health systems, hospitals, physician groups, and post-acute providers; manage medical cost trends and value-based reimbursement models; collaborate with Finance, Legal, Clinical, and Market Leadership; mentor senior leaders; and ensure compliance with CMS, state, and federal regulations.
• • You will join CarePlus Health Plans, a wholly owned subsidiary of Humana Inc., a recognized leader in Medicare Advantage plans serving 21 Florida counties for over 23 years, dedicated to improving health and wellness for Medicare and Medicaid beneficiaries.
• • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in value-based care innovation, enterprise-level strategic planning, and executive leadership in a highly regulated healthcare environment, while shaping network strategy that impacts hundreds of thousands of members and advancing your influence across Humana’s national operations.
