• • The Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern (RMHCI) role at Brave Health PA is a full-time, remote position focused on delivering outpatient mental health services via telehealth to expand access to care for underserved populations, particularly those relying on Medicaid and Medicare.
• • Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting virtual therapy sessions, developing individualized treatment plans, performing comprehensive mental health and substance abuse assessments, utilizing telehealth and communication technologies, and collaborating with clients to achieve therapeutic goals in a HIPAA-compliant home workspace.
• • Brave Health PA is a mission-driven, community health-centered organization committed to breaking down barriers to mental health care by leveraging technology to serve patients across the lifespan, with a special focus on increasing access for Medicaid and Medicare recipients.
• • In this role, the RMHCI will gain hands-on clinical experience in telehealth delivery, strengthen skills in diagnosis and treatment planning, enhance cultural competency—especially with Spanish-speaking populations—and receive support for professional growth through an annual education stipend and supervision toward full licensure.
