- • As a Relationship Warmer at Canals, Inc., you will play a pivotal role in humanizing B2B interactions by delivering thoughtful, timely gestures that strengthen customer relationships and differentiate the company in a competitive industrial supply chain market. Your work will directly support revenue growth by enhancing prospect engagement, accelerating deals, and deepening loyalty among existing customers through personalized gifting and recognition programs.
- • You will partner closely with Sales and Demand Generation teams to execute account-based marketing (ABM) campaigns, using strategic gifting to warm up prospects, break through noisy vendor outreach, and accelerate deal cycles by creating memorable touchpoints that demonstrate genuine interest and appreciation.
- • In collaboration with Customer Success, you will identify and celebrate key customer milestones—such as successful onboarding, pilot or proof-of-concept completion, user training achievements, and contract anniversaries—by coordinating meaningful gifts that reinforce value, encourage adoption, and foster long-term partnership.
- • You will support Field Marketing by managing the logistics of swag and gift distribution for industry events, trade shows, and onsite customer visits, ensuring brand representation is polished, timely, and aligned with event goals to maximize engagement and lead generation.
- • Working with Customer Marketing, you will coordinate thank-you gifts for customers who participate in case studies, provide testimonials, act as references, or refer new business, thereby incentivizing advocacy and amplifying word-of-mouth in the tight-knit distribution community.
- • You will proactively identify additional opportunities for individual and company-level gifting—such as holidays, work anniversaries, promotions, or industry recognitions—and maintain a tracking system to ensure timely execution and consistency across touchpoints.
- • You will oversee all aspects of gift logistics, including vendor selection, inventory management, packaging, shipping, customs (for international sends), and delivery confirmation, ensuring a seamless and professional experience from order to receipt.
- • You will serve as an internal advocate for relationship-building through gifting, educating partners across Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success on best practices, timing, and budget utilization to maximize impact and ensure consistent application of the program.
- • You will monitor and manage the gifting budget, track ROI through engagement metrics (e.g., response rates, meeting conversions, renewal likelihood), and report on program effectiveness to inform continuous improvement and scalability.
- • You will design and implement repeatable, scalable processes and templates for common gifting scenarios, enabling efficiency, consistency, and ease of adoption as the program grows alongside the company.
- • You will contribute to a culture of appreciation and connection, helping Canals stand out not just for its innovative AI-powered supply chain platform, but for the genuine, human-centered way it engages with its customers and partners.
🎯 Requirements
- • Experience in customer relationship management, account-based marketing, customer success, or field marketing, with a proven ability to coordinate personalized outreach or gifting initiatives.
- • Strong project management and organizational skills, including experience managing timelines, budgets, vendor relationships, and logistics for physical deliverables.
- • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, with a talent for understanding customer nuances and selecting meaningful, appropriate gestures that resonate professionally and personally.
- • Proficiency in using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce), marketing automation platforms, and tracking systems to monitor campaigns, measure outcomes, and maintain accurate records.
- • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote-first environment, demonstrating initiative, ownership, and adaptability in a fast-growing startup.
- • Familiarity with B2B sales cycles, customer journey mapping, or advocacy programs is a plus.
