📋 Description

• • As a Remote Associate Mechanical Claims Adjuster at Assurant, you will determine covered failures by reviewing vehicle service agreements, interpreting policy coverage, and researching facts for multiple product lines including automobiles, recreational vehicles, and power sports. This role is critical in ensuring accurate claims adjudication and compliance with Department of Insurance Regulations while delivering timely resolutions to customers and repair facilities.
• • Day to day, you will respond to and resolve customer issues via inbound calls, email, fax, and chat; adjust and document claims according to departmental standards and legal requirements; process claims for accuracy by reviewing contracts and web-based tools; adjudicate claims by collaborating with repair facilities, inspection vendors, and parts suppliers; and document denial or authorization reasons using policy language, seeking approval when exceeding your authority level.
