- • Provide safe, high-quality talking therapy to children and adolescents aged 11–17 via secure video consultations.
- • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop clear, evidence-based care plans tailored to individual young people’s needs.
- • Deliver one-off assessments, wellbeing support sessions, and group therapy interventions as required.
- • Work closely with families, schools, and other support networks to share appropriate, confidential information and coordinate care.
- • Follow safeguarding guidelines rigorously to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all young clients.
- • Identify and manage risk effectively by implementing timely support plans and escalation procedures.
- • Collaborate with colleagues across the wider therapy team to ensure joined-up, holistic care delivery.
- • Support referrals to external services when necessary, guiding clients to the most appropriate resources.
- • Participate in regular clinical supervision and team meetings to maintain professional standards and foster personal development.
- • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing service quality for customers and colleagues.
- • Manage a caseload independently while maintaining strong communication and connection with the clinical team.
- • Utilize IT systems to accurately document patient records and maintain compliance with data protection standards.
- • Demonstrate adaptability in communication styles to effectively engage with young people of varying ages, backgrounds, and needs.
- • Maintain a calm, caring, and professional demeanor in all client interactions and team engagements.
- • Commit to ongoing learning and professional development through continuing professional development (CPD) activities.
- • Support Bupa’s broader wellbeing initiatives to help expand access to mental health support for young people.
🎯 Requirements
- • Doctorate in Clinical or Counselling Psychology accredited by the British Psychological Society
- • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
- • Minimum of 1 year post-qualification experience working with children and young people aged 11–17
- • Proven experience delivering therapy remotely via video consultation
