- • Provide high-quality, outcome-focused Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) to children and adolescents aged 11–17 via video consultations.
- • Conduct thorough clinical assessments and formulations to guide individualised treatment plans, ensuring timely and appropriate support.
- • Communicate sensitively and clearly with parents, carers, schools, and external agencies involved in the young person’s care.
- • Adhere strictly to clinical guidelines, safeguarding policies, and regulatory standards specific to the unique needs of young people.
- • Manage sessional limits aligned with customer insurance coverage while maintaining focus on recovery goals and therapeutic outcomes.
- • Perform comprehensive risk assessments and develop effective clinical management plans, with support from senior clinicians as needed.
- • Offer signposting, onward referrals, and one-off wellbeing sessions to support young people outside of formal therapy.
- • Deliver occasional group psychoeducation sessions and wellbeing workshops to promote emotional resilience.
- • Work autonomously within Bupa’s service framework, maintaining accurate, timely, and compliant clinical records.
- • Attend monthly team meetings and regular clinical supervision sessions to ensure quality and continuity of care.
- • Collaborate with operational and clinical teams to enhance client experience and improve service delivery.
- • Operate remotely from within the UK, using digital health systems to deliver therapy and manage caseloads efficiently.
- • Maintain a structured caseload, prioritising workload to meet utilisation expectations without compromising therapeutic quality.
- • Apply a warm, empathetic, and age-appropriate communication style to build trust and engagement with young people and their families.
- • Participate in continuous professional development and service improvement initiatives as part of the Young Persons Talking Therapy Team.
🎯 Requirements
- • BABCP-accredited Post-Graduate Diploma in CBT/High Intensity Therapy
- • Full BABCP Accreditation
- • At least two years’ post-qualification experience delivering high-intensity CBT with children and adolescents
- • Strong IT skills and confidence using digital health systems
- • Excellent communication skills adapted for diverse ages and needs
- • Ability to manage a structured caseload and meet utilisation expectations
