• • As a Hands-On Engineering Manager at RoomPriceGenie, you will play a pivotal role in leading and nurturing a dedicated team of three engineers focused on developing and maintaining our sophisticated data-intensive systems. These systems are the backbone of our product, processing vast amounts of data to empower hotels with intelligent pricing and revenue optimization strategies. • • You will be instrumental in defining and driving the technical roadmap for your team, ensuring that the systems we build are not only functional but also robust, scalable, and maintainable. This involves guiding architectural decisions, fostering a culture of high-quality engineering practices, and ensuring the reliability and correctness of the data processed by our platform.
• • A core aspect of your role will be to mentor and coach your team members, supporting their professional growth and technical development. You will provide guidance on system design, data modeling, and architectural best practices, helping each engineer reach their full potential. • • The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in building and operating production-grade systems, coupled with proven experience in technical leadership, whether as a Tech Lead, Staff Engineer, or an Engineering Manager. • • You will leverage your expertise in data platforms, distributed systems, and large-scale data pipelines to guide your team's efforts. Familiarity with modern data tooling such as Snowflake, dbt, or Dagster is highly advantageous and will enable you to hit the ground running.
