- • As a purchase-focused Mortgage Loan Officer, you will be instrumental in originating home loans for customers seamlessly integrated through Zillow’s expansive ecosystem, guiding them from their initial contact through the final funding stage.
- • Deliver an unparalleled, best-in-class customer experience throughout the entire mortgage process, ensuring borrower satisfaction and trust.
- • You will have the unique opportunity to tailor your approach based on your strengths and background, operating within either a high-volume, digitally driven, phone-based environment or a more consultative, relationship-based model focused on building long-term strategic partnerships with Zillow Preferred Agents.
- • Both specialized paths are central to our purchase-focused mission and are fully supported by Zillow’s industry-leading technology, powerful brand recognition, centralized operational efficiency, and robust leadership support.
- • Success in this role is defined by your responsiveness, execution capabilities, and consistent performance within a structured, metrics-driven organization, all amplified by Zillow’s significant brand equity, advanced platform, and operational scale.
- • Originate and meticulously manage purchase mortgage loans from the initial application phase all the way through to closing, ensuring strict adherence to all federal, state, and company compliance requirements.
- • Effectively convert company-provided purchase opportunities into successfully funded loans through proactive follow-up strategies and expert borrower consultation.
- • Cultivate strong, lasting relationships with customers, and where applicable, foster robust connections with Zillow Preferred Agents and other local professional partners.
- • Proactively manage an active loan pipeline, consistently meeting defined service level agreements, productivity metrics, and critical funding expectations.
- • Leverage Zillow’s sophisticated CRM, advanced loan origination systems (LOS), and data-driven tools to maintain pipeline health, optimize customer engagement, and drive efficiency.
- • Collaborate closely with centralized processing, underwriting, and closing teams to ensure the efficient and timely progression of loans through each stage.
- • Consistently deliver a high-quality, standardized customer experience across all communication channels, including phone, email, and text messaging.
- • Remain current and knowledgeable on evolving market trends, diverse lending programs, and all relevant regulatory requirements to provide clients with the most tailored and advantageous financing solutions.
- • Maintain active and valid mortgage licensing, complete all mandatory continuing education requirements, and actively participate in ongoing professional development to stay at the forefront of the industry.
- • This role involves the responsible collection, secure storage, and appropriate use of your voiceprints for essential operational and compliance purposes, ensuring a secure and regulated environment.
- • In addition to a competitive base salary, employees in this role are eligible for attractive incentive compensation, with actual amounts varying based on individual experience, performance, and designated work location.
- • Your designated remote work location must be physically situated within the state of Idaho, offering flexibility while ensuring compliance with state-specific regulations.
- • You will have the option to work from a company office periodically, providing a blend of remote autonomy and collaborative in-office opportunities.
- • Employment is contingent upon maintaining your primary residence in Idaho; any future relocation requests will be subject to company review and approval based on business needs.
- • Embrace a performance-driven culture where your ability to manage a pipeline, meet key performance indicators (KPIs), and contribute to Zillow’s growth is paramount.
- • Utilize Zillow’s cutting-edge technology and resources to streamline the loan process, enhance customer interactions, and achieve ambitious sales targets.
- • Contribute to Zillow Home Loans’ mission of making homeownership more accessible and achievable for a wider range of consumers.
- • Develop and refine consultative sales techniques to effectively address borrower needs and overcome potential objections.
