- • As a Remote Mortgage Loan Officer at Zillow Home Loans, you will originate and manage purchase mortgage loans from application through closing, guiding borrowers from first contact to funding while delivering a best-in-class customer experience within Zillow’s FinTech division.
- • Day to day, you will convert company-provided purchase opportunities into funded loans through proactive follow-up and effective borrower consultation, manage an active pipeline while meeting defined service levels and productivity metrics, and leverage Zillow’s CRM, loan origination systems, and data-driven tools to manage pipeline health and customer engagement.
- • You will join a collaborative, high-energy team of innovators and problem solvers at Zillow Group’s FinTech division, working within a purchase-focused mission backed by industry-leading technology, brand, centralized operations, and leadership support, with the flexibility to operate in either a high-volume, lead-driven environment or a consultative, relationship-based model.
- • In this role, you can achieve career growth by building strong relationships with customers and Zillow Preferred Agents, staying current on market trends and lending programs, maintaining active licensing, and participating in ongoing professional development—all while contributing to Zillow’s mission of reshaping the home financing experience.
🎯 Requirements
- • 3+ years of mortgage origination experience with a strong emphasis on purchase transactions, either as an active NMLS Loan Originator with state licenses or as a Loan Originator under a federal bank license.
- • Completion of the 20-hour CORE Pre-Licensing Education and successful passage of the SAFE Mortgage Loan Originator Test – National Component with Uniform State Content.
- • Physically located in and working remotely from South Dakota.
- • Proven success originating purchase loans in either a high-volume, phone-based sales environment or an agent-centric referral model.
- • Strong client service orientation with consultative sales skills and deep understanding of the mortgage process.
- • Proficiency with CRM, LOS, and Microsoft products (Outlook, Word, Excel).
