- • The Remote Processing Station Operator is responsible for managing all Remote Station Operations (RPS) for Global Prepositioned Materiel Services (GPMS) supporting PACAF, ensuring computer listings, reports, and system functionality across Area of Responsibility (AOR) locations.
- • Day-to-day duties include preparing processing schedules, writing and debugging custom programs (including Query Language Programs and Microsoft Access applications), maintaining system operations, troubleshooting Standard Base Supply System (SBSS) terminals, managing user access codes, coordinating with data communication technicians, and ensuring compliance with Performance Work Statement (PWS) and ISO 9001:2015 QMS.
- • The role operates within PAE Holding Corporation, LLC, supporting U.S. Air Force logistics operations in an OCONUS environment (Germany-Pirmasens), requiring adherence to strict security, quality, and procedural standards in a potentially remote and physically demanding setting.
- • The position offers opportunities to develop technical expertise in legacy military systems (Sperry 1100/60, 2200), automation through custom scripting and database applications, and experience in defense logistics operations while contributing to mission-critical supply chain support.
🎯 Requirements
- • Must be proficient in personal computers, Windows OS, and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- • Experience with Sperry 1100/60 and 2200 computer systems is mandatory, including ability to write supply QLP programs
- • Minimum of three to five years experience working with USAF or equivalent military computer systems
- • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance
- • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree plus 3 years experience, or equivalent combination per baseline requirements
