• • As a Senior Fullstack Engineer, you will play a pivotal role within RoomPriceGenie's Customer Journey Team, focusing on the critical area of Growth. Your primary responsibility will be to architect, develop, and maintain the sophisticated systems that drive user activation, foster engagement, and ensure the long-term success of our hotelier clients.
• • Your day-to-day will involve a significant emphasis on backend development, leveraging the power of Python and the Django framework. You will be instrumental in designing and implementing features from their inception through to their successful deployment, encompassing the entire lifecycle from initial problem discovery and architectural design to rigorous testing and seamless integration into our production environment.
• • While your core focus will be on backend systems, you will also be expected to collaborate effectively across the full technology stack. This includes contributing to our modern frontend, built with React and TypeScript, particularly when developing comprehensive user-facing features that require a holistic approach.
• • You will operate with a high degree of autonomy, demonstrating both technical prowess and a keen understanding of product strategy. Working in close partnership with our Product and Design teams, you will contribute to building a product that is deeply informed by data and driven by experimentation, continuously refining and enhancing the customer journey.
• • Key responsibilities include designing, building, and maintaining robust backend services and APIs using Python/Django, ensuring they are scalable, reliable, and performant.
• • You will contribute to the React/TypeScript frontend, ensuring a cohesive and intuitive user experience when developing full user-facing features.
• • Taking end-to-end ownership of product initiatives is crucial. This means guiding features from the initial discovery phase, through design, development, deployment, and ongoing monitoring and iteration, ensuring successful outcomes.
• • A commitment to writing clean, maintainable, and well-tested code is paramount. You will apply modern testing practices across unit, integration, and functional layers to guarantee code quality and stability.
• • Close collaboration with Product, Data, and Design teams is essential for delivering meaningful product improvements that align with business objectives and user needs.
• • Ensuring strong observability, performance, and reliability across all services supporting our growth initiatives is a key objective, enabling us to quickly identify and resolve issues.
• • You will be responsible for instrumenting systems with the appropriate events and data signals to facilitate robust product analytics and effective experimentation, providing insights for future development.
• • Active participation in architecture discussions and technical reviews is expected, contributing to raising the overall engineering standard and fostering a culture of technical excellence.
