- • As a Renewal Specialist at ClickUp, you will play a critical role in driving customer retention and revenue growth by managing the end-to-end renewal process for B2B SaaS contracts, ensuring timely renewals, identifying expansion opportunities, and mitigating churn risk through strategic negotiation and cross-functional collaboration.
- • You will own the full renewal lifecycle—from proactive customer outreach and commercial negotiation to contract execution and CRM hygiene—while building data-informed renewal strategies that balance customer needs with company pricing guardrails, revenue targets, and operational efficiency.
- • You will join a global Renewals Team within ClickUp’s Growth organization, collaborating closely with Account Executives, Customer Success, Finance, Legal, and Sales Leadership to optimize retention, improve forecasting accuracy, and refine renewal playbooks and workflows.
- • You will develop expertise in SaaS revenue operations, contract negotiation, customer health analysis, and cross-functional deal execution, positioning yourself for advancement into senior renewal, account management, or revenue operations roles.
- • You will directly impact ClickUp’s mission to break down work silos and empower teams through AI-powered productivity tools by ensuring customers continue to realize value from the platform, thereby supporting long-term growth and innovation.
- • You will manage a high-volume portfolio of renewals with precision, maintaining a rolling 90-day forecast, flagging risks early, and driving save strategies while identifying upsell, cross-sell, and add-on opportunities based on usage data and adoption trends.
- • You will partner with Legal to navigate contract redlines and non-standard terms, ensure compliance with internal policies, and handle escalations around pricing exceptions, term adjustments, and customer concerns to enable smooth contract execution.
- • You will continuously improve renewal processes by enhancing outreach sequences, updating playbooks, and identifying operational gaps to increase efficiency, reduce friction, and maximize ARR retention and expansion.
- • You will maintain exceptional CRM hygiene in Salesforce and reporting tools, ensuring accurate documentation of renewal stages, notes, close dates, and outcomes to support reliable forecasting and executive reporting.
- • You will operate in a fast-paced, quarterly target-driven environment with a customer-first mindset, using strong interpersonal and negotiation skills to build trust, manage objections, and foster lasting relationships that drive retention and expansion.
🎯 Requirements
- • Minimum of 2 years of experience in B2B sales, account management, renewals, or customer success, ideally within a SaaS environment.
- • Proven experience managing the full renewal cycle, including customer engagement, quote creation, negotiation, expansion identification, and contract closure.
- • Proficiency in CRM systems such as Salesforce (required), with familiarity in forecasting and reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, Gainsight).
- • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills, with the ability to build trust, manage objections, and maintain lasting customer relationships.
- • Ability to analyze usage data, product adoption patterns, and customer health indicators to inform renewal strategies and identify expansion opportunities.
- • Exceptional attention to detail, organizational discipline, and ability to manage a high-volume portfolio with accuracy and speed.
