- • Optro Inc. is seeking a driven and enthusiastic Renewals Deal Desk Analyst to join its expanding Order Management team. This pivotal role is instrumental in ensuring the integrity and efficiency of the company's renewal processes, directly contributing to sustained revenue growth and customer satisfaction.
- • As a Renewals Deal Desk Analyst, you will be at the forefront of enforcing company renewal policies, meticulously verifying the accuracy and completeness of all renewal orders and contracts. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include ensuring adherence to clean order protocols, which are critical for maintaining data integrity and operational smoothness. You will be responsible for the precise input and ongoing maintenance of vital order and contract data within our sophisticated record-keeping systems, acting as a guardian of our commercial information.
- • A significant part of your role will involve providing expert support to the renewals team, addressing their contract-related questions, offering clear policy guidance, and assisting with the complex coordination of combined deals. This requires a deep understanding of our product offerings and commercial terms, ensuring that all transactions are aligned with company strategy and customer needs.
- • Furthermore, you will play a key role in the development and implementation of new procedures, reporting mechanisms, and system enhancements. This proactive involvement will directly contribute to boosting business outcomes, optimizing operational efficiency, and elevating the organization's capabilities in managing renewals.
- • You will collaborate closely with management and various cross-functional teams, including Sales and Accounting, to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions that enhance renewals processes, streamline systems, and elevate the overall customer experience. This collaborative approach is essential for driving continuous improvement and fostering a cohesive operational environment.
- • The role also involves assisting with the intricate coordination and contracting of combined deals, which may include managing concessions and product swaps. This requires a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of commercial agreements to ensure favorable outcomes for both Optro and its clients.

🎯 Requirements
- • 2+ years of prior experience in a deal desk, order management, or billing role.
- • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and act on data to drive positive business outcomes.
- • Detail-oriented with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
- • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across multiple teams, processes, and systems.
- • Understanding of deal support/commercial topics, basic accounting, revenue (ASC 606), and billing principles.
- • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- • Familiarity with SaaS order methodology and software delivery (Nice to Have).
- • Proficiency in SFDC and CPQ software with hands-on experience (Nice to Have).
- • Knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements related to order and data management (e.g. SOX, GDPR, CCPA/CPRA) (Nice to Have).
- • Proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets (Nice to Have).
