- • Design and lead original research studies from scratch, including survey design, sampling strategy, data collection, and statistical analysis on datasets often exceeding 100,000 data points
- • Analyze large-scale datasets using Python, R, or similar tools to identify meaningful patterns and derive actionable business insights
- • Transform complex data into compelling narratives that are cited by industry media, shared by CMOs, and influence B2B software marketing discourse
- • Collaborate with editorial, digital PR, and SEO teams to produce research reports that achieve widespread industry visibility and media coverage
- • Create clear, impactful data visualizations that communicate findings to non-technical audiences, ensuring insights are accessible and shareable
- • Build and maintain business intelligence dashboards using Looker and GA4 to deliver real-time performance insights to clients and internal teams
- • Partner with SEO strategists, content leads, and clients to identify high-impact research questions aligned with business goals and industry trends
- • Network with industry influencers, software partners, and agency collaborators to co-develop research studies, source data, and drive distribution of findings
- • Present research outcomes directly to client stakeholders, translating statistical results into strategic recommendations and business actions
- • Experiment with emerging tools and methodologies at the intersection of AI, search, and content, particularly leveraging NLP and LLM-related analysis
- • Develop scalable, repeatable research frameworks that can be applied across multiple clients and topics to standardize and expand the research practice
- • Contribute to evolving Omniscient’s research practice into the industry gold standard by continuously refining methodologies and exploring new data sources
- • Work on real-world research projects such as analyzing 23,000+ AI citations across LLMs to map brand recommendation patterns, surveying 100+ B2B SaaS decision-makers on LLM usage in purchasing, and studying how marketers measure organic growth in 2025
🎯 Requirements
- • Designed and fielded original surveys or research studies (not just analyzed existing data)
- • Proficient in Python, R, or similar tools for data analysis (beyond Excel)
- • Strong quantitative analysis skills including statistical methods, data cleaning, and working with datasets of 1,000+ records
- • Ability to write clear, compelling narratives that frame data findings for business audiences
- • Experience creating data visualizations that communicate insights effectively, not just decorate
- • Comfortable presenting research findings to clients and non-technical stakeholders
