📋 Description

• • Research Associate 2, Computational Chemistry (PhD Student) role at Xenon Pharmaceuticals, a neuroscience-focused biopharmaceutical company advancing drug discovery for epilepsy, depression, and pain.
• • Contribute to internal machine learning, generative AI, and data analysis tools/platforms to support medicinal and computational chemists; provide troubleshooting support; update automated data integration for drug discovery projects; collaborate with Computational Chemistry, Research IT, and Chemistry teams.
• • Join a collaborative, inclusive, and productive culture at Xenon, which is advancing a strong pipeline including Phase 3 azetukalner programs for epilepsy and mood disorders, with Phase 1 trials underway for pain targets Nav1.7 and Kv7.
• • Develop expertise in computational chemistry, machine learning, and generative AI applications in drug discovery; gain hands-on experience with Knime and Linux-based scripting; strengthen cross-functional collaboration skills in a hybrid Boston-based role.
