  • • Serve as the primary analyst on quantitative and qualitative market research projects for Fortune 500 clients across multiple industries, ensuring high-quality, insights-driven deliverables that address core business questions.
  • • Design, program, and test research instruments using both qualitative (IDI, focus groups, discussion boards) and quantitative (brand equity, concept testing, segmentation) methodologies within the Fuel Cycle Research Engine platform.
  • • Load, proofread, and validate all research surveys and content on staging environments prior to deployment to production, ensuring data accuracy and face validity at every stage of the project lifecycle.
  • • Monitor and oversee data collection processes, ensuring quotas are met and data quality standards are maintained across all research activities.
  • • Moderately assist with daily community moderation and insight extraction from ongoing research activities in online communities.
  • • Analyze research data and synthesize findings into clear, visually compelling, and actionable client deliverables that directly support business decision-making.
  • • Coordinate and execute multiple research projects simultaneously, managing timelines, scope, and budget constraints to ensure all deliverables are completed on schedule and within contract terms.
  • • Collaborate cross-functionally with community management, programming, data processing, and Customer Experience teams to ensure seamless project execution and client satisfaction.
  • • Maintain a data accuracy rate of 95% or higher across all assigned research projects.
  • • Achieve 90% or higher on-time project completion rate within agreed timelines and budget parameters.
  • • Secure a client satisfaction rating of 4 or higher on a 5-point scale for 90% or more of projects delivered.
  • • Mentor and train junior research team members to develop their technical and analytical skills in market research execution.
  • • Become an expert user of the Fuel Cycle Research Engine platform to optimize research efficiency and output quality.
  • • Utilize Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook proficiently to manage project documentation, reporting, and client communications.
  • • Apply statistical software such as SPSS, SAS, Qualtrics, and/or Alchemer to analyze research data and generate meaningful insights.
  • • Work onsite five days per week at the Los Angeles office, maintaining full-time presence to support team collaboration and project execution.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • • Minimum 2 years of prior market research experience, preferably with a research vendor company
  • • Proficiency in market research tools and statistical software (e.g., SPSS, SAS, Qualtrics, Alchemer)
  • • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • • Knowledge of quantitative and qualitative research methodologies (e.g., brand equity, concept testing, segmentation, IDIs, focus groups)
  • • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
