We are building the first AI-native Healthcare Revenue Operating System, a groundbreaking platform that leverages advanced AI to reason over comprehensive medical records, payer logic, and financial workflows. - • This is a unique opportunity to work on AI systems that are already in production and making a tangible impact across the U.S. healthcare landscape. Our technology powers workflows for 95 of the top 100 U.S. health systems, processing hundreds of millions of patient encounters annually. This includes managing over 180 million claims, handling 550 million patient encounters, and executing 1.2 billion workflow actions and outcomes each year. You will experience startup-level ownership combined with enterprise-level impact, contributing to AI that ships, scales, and measurably improves how healthcare functions.
- • As a Research Scientist, you will operate at the intersection of research and development, with a strong emphasis on applied science and a comfort level working closely with production code. Your primary focus will be conducting applied research using real-world healthcare data, with specific areas of interest including explainability, reinforcement learning, and long-context information retrieval.
- • You will be instrumental in moving research concepts from ideation to deployment rapidly. This involves designing innovative experiments, training sophisticated models at scale, and fostering close collaboration with our Machine Learning Operations (ML Ops) and Product teams to translate groundbreaking ideas into measurable user impact and business value.
- • A key aspect of this role is staying abreast of the latest advancements in the ML literature while remaining deeply connected to production realities. You will be expected to code your own experiments end-to-end, demonstrating a high degree of autonomy and technical proficiency.

- • You will engage in the full research lifecycle, from hypothesis generation and experimental design to model implementation, training, evaluation, and deployment. This includes leveraging distributed computing infrastructure to handle large-scale data and model training.
- • The role demands a proactive approach to problem-solving, a strong analytical mindset, and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- • You will contribute to the intellectual property of the company through publications in top-tier ML venues and internal technical documentation, further solidifying our position as a leader in AI for healthcare.
- • This is an in-person role based in our SoHo, NYC office, requiring a minimum of three days per week in the office to foster collaboration and innovation.
- • We are looking for candidates who can operate at various levels, from L2 (Mid-Level) to L4 (Staff), indicating opportunities for growth and leadership within the team. L2 candidates will independently deliver end-to-end projects, while L3 candidates will lead larger projects with increased complexity, and L4 candidates will lead teams or major cross-functional initiatives.
