- • As the Respiratory Therapy Supervisor at ThedaCare, you will be instrumental in leading the day-to-day operations of our vital respiratory therapy department, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and team performance.
- • You will be responsible for overseeing the safe and proficient execution of duties by respiratory therapists, fostering an environment of excellence and continuous improvement.

- • You will be accountable for day-to-day operations, including setting team member performance expectations, implementing action plans, refining work processes, managing schedules, and optimizing resource allocation to meet patient demand.
- • Overseeing the development of standards of care, preferred practice patterns, protocols, and clinical procedures, grounded in evidence-based practice, will ensure the delivery of high-quality care.
- • You will provide oversight, constructive feedback, and essential education to ensure accurate billing and coding practices, maximizing reimbursement and maintaining compliance.
- • Developing and evaluating standards for assigned units in accordance with regulatory guidelines, and maintaining necessary documentation for accreditation and operational delivery, will be a critical function.
- • Ensuring an adequate inventory of supplies, materials, and equipment for the units, and maintaining effective liaison with equipment and supply vendors to promote best practices, will be part of your operational oversight.
- • Facilitating educational activities necessary to enhance and maintain mandatory service competencies and continuing education programs for team members, serving as a clinical resource to the healthcare team, will be a key developmental role.
- • Assisting in determining fiscal requirements for budgetary recommendations, compiling data for operational reports, analyzing progress and trends, and making informed recommendations to enhance strategic effectiveness will contribute to the department's financial health.
- • Proactively ensuring a positive patient experience and providing effective service recovery to support our commitment to putting the patient and family first will be a daily focus.
- • Assisting in the evaluation of equipment purchases, balancing best practice with financial prudence, will ensure we invest in the most effective and efficient tools for our team.
- • This role is based at TC at Home in Appleton, Wisconsin, and operates on a full-time, 40-hour work week, with the expectation of working days. The position is overtime exempt.
