📋 Description

• As a Revenue Accountant at Matillion Limited, you will play a critical role in ensuring accurate and compliant revenue recognition for a fast-growing, globally operating AI data automation company. Your work directly supports financial integrity and enables strategic decision-making across the organization.
• Day to day, you will support the end-to-end revenue recognition process for Matillion’s global consumption-based business model, including reviewing contract terms, applying IFRS 15 standards, collaborating with Accounts Receivable, Sales Operations, IT, and FP&A teams, and contributing to system automation and process improvement initiatives.
• You will join a driven, curious, and energetic finance team within a high-growth tech company that values innovation, accountability, and making a meaningful impact. Matillion operates globally with offices in Manchester, the US, and India, and fosters a culture of thinking big and moving fast.
• In this role, you will deepen your expertise in revenue recognition under IFRS 15, gain exposure to complex global accounting practices, develop skills in financial systems and automation, and contribute to high-visibility projects that scale with the company’s growth.

🎯 Requirements

• Professional finance qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA) or equivalent experience
• Proven experience in revenue recognition, preferably under IFRS 15
• Experience working with consumption-based or SaaS business models
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including Sales, IT, and FP&A
• Experience with financial systems and process improvement initiatives
