Revenue Accountant (Temporary)

📋 Description

• • As a Revenue Accountant (Temporary) at Optro Inc., you will play a critical role in ensuring accurate revenue reporting for a high-growth SaaS company that serves over 50% of the Fortune 500, including 7 of the Fortune 10. This temporary, part-time position (4–5 months, starting May/June through September) places you at the intersection of sales operations and financial reporting, where you will help maintain compliance with US GAAP and support the integrity of Optro’s revenue recognition processes.
• • Day to day, you will perform detailed reviews of SaaS sales contracts, collaborate cross-functionally with sales to interpret terms and deliverables, determine whether contracts are single- or multi-element, verify Standalone Selling Price (SSP) against pricebooks, and ensure proper revenue allocation. You will also review system-generated monthly revenue schedules, reperform Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) calculations for accuracy, validate consistency across reporting systems, and provide timely updates to the Revenue Manager and Senior Manager on deal queues, task progress, and deadlines.
