- • As a Revenue Accounting Manager at Zillow Group, you will play a critical role in ensuring accurate revenue recognition and financial integrity for new and evolving products within a fast-paced, collaborative Controller organization.
- • You will build accounting and internal control processes for new revenue streams, support month-end close activities, mentor junior team members, and drive process improvements to enhance automation and accuracy.
- • You will work closely with cross-functional teams including IT, Revenue Product owners, Technical Accounting, Financial Reporting, Tax, FP&A, Billing and Collections, and Sales and Operations to align on revenue accounting requirements and ensure SOX readiness.
- • This role offers the opportunity to deepen expertise in ASC 606, lead revenue accounting initiatives, and grow as a strategic finance leader within a company recognized as a FORTUNE 100 Best Company to Work For and a PEOPLE Companies That Care® honoree.
🎯 Requirements
- • BA/BS or higher in Accounting or Finance
- • CPA certification with experience in revenue recognition under ASC 606
- • 6+ years of related experience (with Master’s degree) or 8+ years (with Bachelor’s Degree) in public accounting or mid-to-large sized tech/high-growth companies
- • Experience mentoring less experienced team members and strong project management skills
- • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Google Suite; experience with Workday Financial Management and/or Zuora (subscription billing software) preferred; Zuora RevPro experience is a plus
- • Ability to lead ambiguity, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced, data-driven environment with excellent written and verbal communication skills
