📋 Description
- • **Lead the charge in optimizing our Salesforce Revenue Cloud Advanced (RCA) demonstration environment.** As the dedicated Demo Org Lead, you will be instrumental in building, maintaining, and continuously evolving our critical demo org. This role is pivotal for enabling rapid prototyping of innovative use cases, delivering compelling proofs-of-concept, and ensuring our sales and solutions teams are always equipped with the latest capabilities to showcase to clients.
- • **Take full ownership of the demo RCA org's lifecycle.** This includes its initial setup, establishing robust governance policies, performing regular maintenance, managing upgrades, executing data refreshes, ensuring stringent security protocols are in place, and maintaining overall environment hygiene. Your proactive approach will guarantee a stable and high-performing demo environment.
- • **Master the configuration of key RCA features.** You will be responsible for configuring and demonstrating a wide array of RCA functionalities. This includes, but is not limited to, the product catalog, complex bundling strategies, sophisticated pricing procedures, multi-level discounting logic, intricate approval workflows, comprehensive contract management, seamless renewals and amendments, subscription management, and the setup and functionality of partner and customer portals.
- • **Rapidly prototype and model new scenarios.** Collaborate closely with sales, solutions architects, presales, and internal teams to quickly translate their needs into tangible configurations within the demo org. This agility is crucial for supporting dynamic sales cycles and client engagements.
- • **Act as a bridge between business needs and technical solutions.** Work hand-in-hand with business stakeholders, solutions architects, and developers to meticulously translate feature requests and business requirements into actionable system changes and enhancements within the RCA framework.
- • **Ensure the highest quality of demo configurations.** Conduct thorough quality assurance, regression testing, and validation of all demo configurations before they are presented to clients or used in proofs-of-concept. Your attention to detail will prevent any potential disruptions and ensure a flawless demonstration experience.
- • **Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation.** Create and maintain clear documentation for all configuration decisions, process flows, and essential demo scripts or flows. This knowledge base will be invaluable for team onboarding, knowledge sharing, and ensuring consistency across demonstrations.
- • **Stay ahead of the curve with RCA releases.** Proactively monitor and stay up-to-date with the latest Revenue Cloud release notes and new feature introductions. You will be responsible for evaluating how these new capabilities can be adopted or effectively demonstrated to clients, providing strategic guidance.
- • **Empower internal teams through training.** Assist in developing and delivering training sessions to internal teams, educating them on new use cases, the full potential of RCA, and its inherent limitations. Your expertise will enhance the overall understanding and utilization of the platform across the organization.
- • **Enhance demo richness with strategic data management.** Play a key role in managing data seeding, creating sample accounts, and developing realistic sample scenarios to ensure the demo org is rich, diverse, and effectively showcases the breadth of RCA's capabilities.
- • **Leverage your Salesforce administration expertise.** Utilize your strong understanding of Salesforce declarative automation tools such as Flow, Process Builder, and Validation Rules to build efficient and scalable solutions within the demo environment.
- • **Contribute to environment management best practices.** Apply your knowledge of environment management, including sandboxes, refreshing processes, version control, and change set discipline, to maintain a healthy and organized demo org.
- • **Foster a collaborative and innovative environment.** Work effectively in a fast-paced setting, managing multiple simultaneous requests and contributing to a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the Revenue Cloud practice.
- • **Drive adoption and understanding of advanced Salesforce functionalities.** By expertly managing the demo org, you will indirectly drive greater adoption and deeper understanding of complex Salesforce features across the company, enabling more effective client solutions.
- • **Support the evolution of our sales enablement tools.** Your work will directly contribute to the effectiveness of our sales team by providing them with a cutting-edge, reliable, and dynamic tool for showcasing our capabilities.
- • **Be a subject matter expert for RCA.** Serve as the primary point of contact and expert for all matters related to the RCA demo org, providing guidance and support to various internal teams.
- • **Champion best practices in demo org management.** Establish and promote best practices for demo org maintenance, configuration, and usage, ensuring consistency and efficiency.
- • **Contribute to pre-sales strategy.** Your insights from managing the demo org will be invaluable in shaping pre-sales strategies and identifying opportunities for product enhancement or new service offerings.
- • **Ensure data integrity and security.** Implement and maintain robust data security measures and ensure the integrity of all data within the demo environment, adhering to company policies and best practices.
- • **Adapt to evolving business needs.** Be prepared to adapt configurations and demo scenarios to meet the ever-changing needs of the business and the market landscape.
- • **Collaborate on complex solution design.** Work with solutions architects and developers to design and implement complex, hybrid declarative and custom solutions for advanced use cases within the demo org.
- • **Gain exposure to order-to-cash processes.** Develop a deeper understanding of the order-to-cash lifecycle and how RCA fits into the broader financial ecosystem, including billing integrations and subscription models.
- • **Maintain a high level of technical proficiency.** Continuously learn and adapt to new Salesforce features, industry trends, and best practices in Revenue Cloud administration and configuration.
- • **Be a key player in client success.** Ultimately, your work in maintaining and optimizing the demo org directly contributes to our ability to effectively demonstrate value to clients, fostering their success and strengthening our partnerships.
🎯 Requirements
- • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator with a significant focus on CPQ configuration.
- • Demonstrated understanding of Revenue Cloud Advanced (RCA) objects, data model, and core functionalities.
- • At least 2 active Salesforce certifications, with a commitment to achieving a total of 4 active certifications within the first 6 months of employment.
- • Proven experience with Salesforce environment management, including sandboxes, data refreshes, and change control processes.
- • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions.
- • Excellent communication and documentation skills, capable of articulating technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
