- • Revenue Cycle Consultants provide expertise and support to a wide variety of healthcare organizations to find and develop opportunities for improvement in all aspects of revenue cycle operations while confidently leading all client conversations.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include serving as an advisor to hospitals on complex regulatory issues under Medicare’s OPPS, IPPS, MPFS, RHC, and CAH reimbursement methodologies; leading monthly web-based meetings with clients to discuss regulatory changes, coding updates, and revenue cycle news; writing and editing articles on revenue cycle topics for a broad client community; preparing researched written responses to client questions via the PARA Data Editor; conducting revenue cycle assessments through interviews with clinical department leaders to evaluate charge capture, identify coding irregularities, and ensure accurate service reporting; and serving as a subject matter expert in speaking engagements (1–2 short trips per year).
