- • As a Revenue Cycle Specialist at Osmind, you will play a critical role in ensuring the financial health and operational efficiency of independent psychiatry practices by managing billing, claims, and reimbursement processes that directly support clinicians in delivering high-quality mental health care.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities will include processing insurance claims, verifying patient eligibility, posting payments, managing denials and appeals, and ensuring timely reimbursement from payers while maintaining compliance with healthcare billing regulations.
- • You will be part of a mission-driven team at Osmind, a public benefit corporation dedicated to advancing psychiatric care through innovative technology, data, and services that empower over 1,000 independent psychiatry practices nationwide.
- • In this role, you will develop deep expertise in healthcare revenue cycle management, gain exposure to cutting-edge psychiatric treatments and value-based care models, and contribute to improving financial sustainability for mental health providers who serve high-acuity patients.
🎯 Requirements
- • Experience in medical billing, claims processing, or healthcare revenue cycle management
- • Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and billing software
- • Strong knowledge of insurance verification, CPT coding, and healthcare reimbursement guidelines
- • Ability to manage denials, appeals, and patient billing inquiries with attention to detail
- • Excellent organizational and communication skills for coordinating with clinics and payers
