• • As an AI Trainer, your primary role will involve evaluating AI-generated 3D content and providing critical feedback. This feedback loop is essential for training AI models to better comprehend and execute tasks related to NURBS-based 3D modeling, product design, and the creation of intricate freeform geometries.
• • You will be instrumental in developing tool-related questions that probe the AI's capabilities and assessing the accuracy and relevance of its responses against real-world industrial design and 3D modeling scenarios.
• • This is an ongoing, project-based engagement, offering significant flexibility. It's an ideal way to supplement your existing workload or pursue a passion for AI development alongside your primary career or freelance activities.
• • The ideal candidate possesses a strong foundation in Rhino 3D, gained through professional experience or extensive freelance projects, and has a deep understanding of NURBS modeling principles and 3D geometry workflows.
• • Experience in roles such as Industrial Designer, Product Designer, Computational Designer, Fabrication Specialist, Jewelry Designer, or Automotive Designer is highly valued, as these roles often involve the precise application of 3D modeling skills that the AI needs to learn.
• • Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• • Critically reviewing and assessing AI-generated 3D models and design outputs for accuracy, geometric integrity, and adherence to design principles.
• • Providing detailed, constructive feedback on AI responses to specific modeling prompts and questions.
• • Developing insightful questions and scenarios to test the AI's understanding of complex 3D design tasks and industrial design workflows.
• • Annotating and labeling 3D models and design assets to provide clear guidance for AI training.
• • Ensuring the geometric consistency and accuracy of AI-generated designs.
• • Collaborating asynchronously with the Handshake AI team by following written guidelines and project-specific instructions.
• • Contributing to the continuous improvement of AI algorithms focused on 3D design and modeling.
• • This role requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to articulate complex design concepts clearly and concisely.
• • You will be working remotely, requiring a reliable internet connection and a functional desktop or laptop computer.
• • The schedule is asynchronous and flexible, allowing you to manage your time effectively. There is no minimum hour requirement, making it adaptable to your personal and professional commitments. Many contributors find they can dedicate approximately 5–20 hours per week to active projects.
