📋 Description

• • As a Risk Analyst at Morpho Inc., you will serve as the critical bridge between traditional finance (TradFi) risk expertise and decentralized finance (DeFi) protocol mechanics, enabling institutional adoption of Morpho’s open lending network by translating complex on-chain risks into actionable, regulatory-aligned insights.
• • Your day-to-day responsibilities will include advising TradFi integrators on risk management frameworks to ensure compliance with internal and regulatory standards while adopting the Morpho protocol; translating complex DeFi mechanisms such as curator behavior, liquidation processes, and on-chain risk into terminology and models familiar to traditional finance professionals; conducting independent data analysis using SQL, Python, or Dune to answer critical risk-related questions from internal teams and external partners; building and maintaining dashboards and queries that surface key risk metrics to support decision-making across product and integration teams; developing deep expertise in Morpho’s protocol architecture and risk model to become the go-to resource for risk-related inquiries; educating DeFi-native colleagues on TradFi conventions, risk standards, and institutional expectations to improve cross-functional communication; and identifying data gaps and edge cases in integration scenarios to proactively mitigate risks before they impact users or partners.
• • Morpho is a rapidly growing DeFi lending protocol backed by $50 million from top-tier investors including a16z crypto, Coinbase Ventures, Ribbit Capital, and Pantera, with over $10 billion in deposits on its network. The company is building an open, permissionless lending infrastructure designed to become a foundational layer of the new internet-native financial system, operating with a remote-first culture that values autonomy, intellectual rigor, and low-ego collaboration across time zones from -5h GMT to +2h GMT to ensure overlap with its Paris-based core team.
• • In this role, you will develop deep, hybrid expertise at the intersection of TradFi risk management and DeFi protocol engineering, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor in one of the most innovative sectors of finance. Over time, you will own critical risk dashboards or data sources, lead or co-lead TradFi integration initiatives, and directly influence how institutional clients perceive and interact with DeFi — gaining influence, visibility, and impact that few roles in crypto or traditional finance offer at this stage of market evolution.
