- • As an Energy Engineer I at ClearResult Consulting LLC, you will play a vital role in advancing the company’s mission to drive a sustainable, equitable, and carbon-neutral energy-efficient future by supporting the design, analysis, and implementation of energy efficiency programs for clients across Michigan’s Lower Peninsula.
- • Your work will directly contribute to reducing energy consumption, lowering utility costs for customers, and minimizing environmental impact through technically sound engineering solutions and program support.
- • Day to day, you will calculate energy savings for projects using standard engineering principles rooted in physics, mechanics, electrical systems, thermodynamics, mathematics, and statistics to quantify the impact of efficiency measures.
- • You will participate in energy audits alongside customers and contractors to identify opportunities for energy efficiency improvements in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
- • You will support the development of measure characteristics for program planning and business development efforts, ensuring technical accuracy and alignment with program goals under supervision.
- • You will analyze building energy end uses and assess the energy impacts of industrial processes to inform recommendations for energy-saving interventions.
- • You will utilize tools and software to support analysis of energy efficiency projects, including energy modeling, data logging, and analytics platforms, while maintaining accurate records and reporting.
- • You will prioritize safety in all field and office activities, adhering to safety protocols and promoting a culture of risk awareness and prevention.
- • You will stay current with industry trends, regulations, and best practices in energy efficiency and sustainability through training and self-directed learning to enhance your technical expertise.
- • You will provide general project oversight, quality control, and assurance, regularly communicating updates and necessary adjustments to customers and project teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
- • You will collaborate with a people-first, inclusive team at ClearResult that values trust, accountability, and transparency, where your contributions are respected and your professional growth is supported.
- • In this role, you will build foundational expertise in energy engineering, gain hands-on experience with utility-sponsored efficiency programs, and develop the skills needed to progress toward licensure and advanced technical responsibilities in the energy efficiency sector.
🎯 Requirements
- • BS in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related field)
- • 0-3+ years of experience in energy efficiency, engineering analysis, or a related technical role
- • Proficiency in MS Office, with advanced skills in Excel for data analysis, modeling, and reporting
