- • Own and drive the product roadmap for a core area of the Pioneer platform with a focus on AI-powered operations and analytics for underground infrastructure management
- • Develop deep customer understanding through direct research, field engagement, and data analysis to translate insights into high-value product features
- • Rapidly iterate on product ideas, validate hypotheses, and continuously refine features based on real-world feedback and performance metrics
- • Define, track, and improve key product metrics in close collaboration with design, engineering, and cross-functional teams to ensure quality and impact
- • Stay current on industry trends in software-driven physical infrastructure management and integrate relevant innovations into the product strategy
- • Partner cross-functionally with engineering, design, sales, and customer success teams to deliver outcomes that directly improve customer operations and community infrastructure
- • Work within a hybrid schedule based in Walnut Creek, CA, with flexibility for US-based remote candidates
- • Lead product initiatives that transform manual video review processes into automated, AI-driven insights for contractors, engineering firms, and utilities
- • Balance strategic planning with hands-on execution in a fast-paced startup environment where scope evolves rapidly and ambiguity is common
- • Communicate effectively with engineers, executives, and customers to align on priorities, progress, and product vision
- • Contribute to shaping the company’s brand and market positioning through high-visibility product decisions that drive measurable impact for customers and communities
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of product management experience, preferably in a B2B SaaS environment
- • Domain expertise in utilities, construction, asset management, or related industries
- • Genuine curiosity and excitement about how AI can transform physical infrastructure
- • Product mindset focused on outcomes over output, with customer obsession and a bias toward shipping and learning
- • Comfort with ambiguity and ability to thrive in a startup-paced environment
- • Excellent communication skills to collaborate fluidly with engineers, executives, and customers
