- • As a Robotics Engineer (Contractor) at Maneva, you will play a critical role in integrating advanced robotics hardware and software to enable vision-to-action AI solutions for manufacturers, directly impacting factory-floor operations through seamless data collection and real-world deployment of AI-driven policies.
- • Day to day, you will integrate and tune robotics hardware SDKs (Flexiv RDK in Python/C++, PIKA SDK), perform camera calibration and multi-camera synchronization, build and maintain data collection pipelines for LeRobot-compatible datasets, run ACT and Diffusion Policy training and evaluation, deploy learned policies on-robot while optimizing latency and debugging sim/replay vs. real-world gaps, and write ROS2 nodes to maintain a lean robotics stack.
- • You will collaborate closely with deployment engineers and world-class AI experts in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment focused on optimizing uptime, quality, safety, and throughput for industrial clients using cutting-edge vision AI and IoT solutions.
- • This role offers the opportunity to deepen expertise in robotic system integration, real-world AI policy deployment, sensor fusion, and ROS2-based development while contributing to tangible industrial automation outcomes and gaining exposure to advanced imitation learning frameworks.
🎯 Requirements
- • Master’s degree in engineering, robotics, computer science, or a related field
- • 4+ years of experience building and deploying real robot systems on physical robotic arms
- • Experience integrating and tuning robotics hardware SDKs for robot arms (such as Flexiv RDK or PIKA SDK)
- • Proven ability to debug robot perception and calibration issues, including camera calibration, multi-camera synchronization, timing/sync drift, and frame alignment
- • Experience deploying learned policies on-robot and optimizing latency, including debugging sim/replay versus real-world performance gaps
- • Experience building and maintaining robotics data collection pipelines (recording, storage, dataset formatting, versioning)
- • Strong proficiency in Python for robotics development and working proficiency in C++ sufficient to use and modify robotics SDK examples
- • Hands-on experience with ROS2, and ML training using PyTorch and Weights & Biases
- • Business-fluent English communication skills
- • Authorization to work in Canada
- • Availability to work during Eastern Time business hours
