  • • Serve as a trusted scientific partner to Thought Leaders and healthcare professionals (HCPs) in the radiopharmaceutical (RPT) space, engaging in peer-to-peer scientific dialogue to advance patient care and RayzeBio’s scientific leadership.
  • • Build and maintain scientific partnerships with key opinion leaders and multidisciplinary nuclear medicine teams at top RPT institutions to foster collaboration and drive adoption of RayzeBio’s therapies.
  • • Liaise with clinical institutions to identify and understand barriers to patient access for radiopharmaceuticals within the context of ongoing and future clinical trials.
  • • Lead high-impact scientific presentations and discussions that challenge conventional treatment paradigms and promote evidence-based adoption of RayzeBio’s radiopharmaceutical assets, including RYZ101.
  • • Support clinical development by identifying and recommending optimal clinical trial sites, educating investigators and site staff on trial protocols, and addressing enrollment barriers to accelerate patient recruitment.
  • • Conduct insight-gathering sessions with frontline HCPs to uncover emerging clinical needs, diagnostic challenges, and treatment gaps, translating frontline feedback into actionable strategic recommendations.
  • • Provide strategic input on clinical trial design, medical launch plans, brand messaging, and payer engagement from a medical science perspective to inform cross-functional decision-making.
  • • Rapidly synthesize external scientific and clinical feedback to inform R&D, Medical, and Commercial teams on evolving therapeutic landscapes, competitive dynamics, and lifecycle planning opportunities.
  • • Act as a scientific advisor to medical and commercial teams, guiding medical education initiatives and external engagement strategies to align with RayzeBio’s launch objectives.
  • • Educate internal stakeholders on evolving trends in oncology, real-world data, and the competitive radiopharmaceutical landscape to enhance organizational scientific literacy.
  • • Apply AI-driven tools and technologies to enhance team execution, data analysis, and decision-making processes in alignment with RayzeBio’s innovation goals.
  • • Travel up to 50% of the time to engage with Thought Leaders, attend medical conferences, and support clinical trial activities across the United States.
  • • Maintain strict compliance with RayzeBio’s policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements in all external and internal interactions.
  • • Demonstrate a strong learning mindset by continuously staying current with the latest clinical data, regulatory updates, and scientific advancements in oncology and radiopharmaceuticals.
  • • Represent RayzeBio with integrity and professionalism in all interactions, ensuring alignment with the company’s mission to transform cancer care through targeted radioisotope therapies.

🎯 Requirements

  • • MD, PhD, PharmD, or equivalent degree, or closely related RPT specialty such as nuclear medicine technologist
  • • 7+ years of relevant experience in oncology and/or radiopharmaceuticals, with a minimum of 3 years of field experience involving an RPT or solid tumor product
  • • Proven track record of external engagement with national and global Thought Leaders in oncology or nuclear medicine
  • • Scientific agility to engage in peer-to-peer dialogue about complex clinical data in a balanced, evidence-based manner
  • • Demonstrated ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams including R&D, Medical, and Commercial
  • • Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time
