- • As a Runtime Engineer on the Lovable Apps Platform Team, you will ensure that millions of user-generated applications run reliably in production by owning the app hosting and deployment pipeline, managing composable managed services, and maintaining custom domains infrastructure at scale.
- • Day to day, you will own the runtime that serves user applications, manage and operate services for storage, logging, and workflows, build and maintain custom domain infrastructure with SSL and DNS management, drive vendor evaluation and migrations, and establish operational excellence through monitoring, alerting, incident response, runbooks, and capacity planning.
- • You will join Lovable Labs Inc., an AI-powered software creation platform where millions of users generate hundreds of thousands of apps daily, and the Apps Platform team is responsible for the full backend and hosting layer that makes those apps run in production without requiring users to manage infrastructure.
- • In this role, you will gain deep expertise in platform engineering, distributed systems, and vendor-managed services at scale, while shaping the evolution of Lovable’s infrastructure from a bundled BaaS to best-of-breed services, directly impacting product experience and operational reliability for creators worldwide.
🎯 Requirements
- • Experience building and operating distributed systems
- • Strong background in platform engineering, SRE, or infrastructure operations
- • Deep understanding of multitenant app hosting infrastructure, container orchestration, or edge runtimes
- • Vendor management experience: evaluating services, negotiating contracts, planning migrations, and holding vendors accountable for SLAs
- • Operational mindset: thinking in uptime, latency percentiles, cost-per-request, and blast radius
