📋 Description

• Lead, scale, and manage the Professional Services organization across the Middle East and Africa (MEA), overseeing both Forward Deployed Engineering and Customer Success Engineering teams.
• Own end-to-end P&L responsibility for regional Professional Services, including budgeting, margin targets, and operating plan execution to ensure financial health and growth.
• Lead the scoping, solutioning, and pitching of professional services engagements in collaboration with Regional Sales, ensuring high-impact, value-driven proposals aligned with customer needs and revenue objectives.
• Drive commercial strategy by partnering with Sales and Account Management leadership to accelerate pipeline, expand accounts, and align technical delivery capacity with revenue goals.
• Define, govern, and enforce regional service delivery methodology to ensure consistent, repeatable, and high-quality outcomes across the full customer lifecycle—from onboarding to expansion.
• Establish and maintain technical standards for MLOps, model CI/CD pipelines, REST API design, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and enterprise data integration to ensure secure, scalable, and maintainable AI deployments.
• Oversee the deployment of complex AI/ML platforms in regulated enterprise environments including financial services, healthcare, and government sectors prevalent in the MEA region.
• Monitor customer satisfaction, delivery quality, and engagement health to maximize retention, expansion, and long-term customer impact.
• Serve as the senior technical point of contact and executive sponsor for strategic enterprise customers, engaging directly with C-level stakeholders on architecture, platform adoption, and delivery strategy.
• Maintain alignment with Global Engineering and Deployment leadership to ensure regional practices adhere to and contribute to global standards, tooling, and frameworks.
• Represent DataRobot externally as a thought leader at industry events, customer advisory boards, and partner forums across the MEA region.
• Recruit, assess, and develop high-performing technical talent, implementing performance management frameworks to recognize excellence and address underperformance.
• Manage workforce planning, capacity utilization, and resource allocation to balance delivery demands against the dynamic regional book of business.
• Lead a matrixed, distributed team across multiple time zones with both direct and dotted reporting lines, fostering a culture of engineering excellence, operational rigor, and customer-centricity.
• Apply deep hands-on expertise in deploying enterprise AI/ML platforms across cloud and on-premise environments, with strong architectural understanding of enterprise security, networking, and compliance.
• Leverage familiarity with Generative AI and Agentic AI frameworks (LangGraph, LlamaIndex, CrewAI) and their deployment considerations to enhance customer solutioning and delivery.
• Ensure all customer deployments meet enterprise-grade standards for security, scalability, and maintainability, particularly in regulated industries.

🎯 Requirements

• 10–14 years of progressive experience in software engineering, platform deployment, or AI/ML technical roles, with minimum 4 years in VP-level leadership
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field required; MS or PhD preferred
• Expert-level hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform including enterprise security, networking, and compliance
• Demonstrated experience working across the MEA region with understanding of cultural, regulatory, and commercial diversity in GCC and European markets
• Deep, hands-on expertise in deploying and integrating enterprise AI/ML platforms at scale
• Proven track record leading and scaling technical teams in a post-sales, services-oriented environment
