- • Serve as a commercial partner and trusted advisor within the Client Success Team (Account Executive I) to drive new business acquisition, expand revenue, and accelerate pipeline growth through proactive, solution-led selling.
- • Lead end-to-end sales cycles including prospecting, pipeline creation, proposal development, pricing discussions, negotiations, and deal closure for TransUnion’s data, analytics, and risk solutions.
- • Partner with cross-functional teams including Product, Marketing, Sales Enablement, Finance, Legal, Operations, and Client Implementation to execute integrated go-to-market strategies and deliver superior client outcomes.
- • Penetrate new markets and accounts by identifying commercial opportunities and translating industry trends, regulatory considerations, and client KPIs into value-based sales conversations.
- • Develop deep subject-matter expertise in TransUnion’s risk and analytics solutions to enable credible, consultative selling that links product capabilities to measurable client ROI.
- • Maintain high outbound activity levels with a hunter mentality, consistently exceeding quota and revenue targets in a target-driven, outbound sales environment.
- • Utilize CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) to ensure accurate pipeline hygiene, forecast precision, and effective deal tracking.
- • Apply structured discovery frameworks and competitive selling methodologies to differentiate TransUnion’s offerings and overcome objections.
- • Operate primarily in a remote capacity, with occasional in-person attendance at assigned TransUnion office locations required to support business needs.
- • Stay informed on evolving business needs across financial services, retail, legal, investigative, insurance, and collections sectors to identify and capitalize on commercial opportunities.
- • Manage multiple concurrent deals with strong prioritization skills, performing effectively in a fast-paced, high-performance sales environment.
- • Demonstrate professional telephonic and written communication skills to build relationships, negotiate terms, and close deals.
- • Contribute to go-to-market initiatives and support the launch and adoption of new TransUnion products and services.
- • Adhere to TransUnion’s Employment Equity plan by aligning with regional diversity and inclusion targets for South African candidates.
- • Maintain a fibre-ready home workspace with a minimum 100/100 Meg fibre line to ensure reliable, confidential, and secure day-to-day remote operations.
- • Comply with TransUnion’s credit record requirements due to the company’s role as a credit bureau.
