- • As an Inside Sales Representative, you will be the primary point of contact for a dedicated set of clients, ensuring their continued satisfaction and loyalty. Your core responsibility will be to nurture these accounts, focusing on retention, timely contract renewals, and identifying lucrative opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional GTT services. This involves a proactive approach to understanding client needs, developing tailored proposals, and accurately processing orders to facilitate seamless service delivery.
- • You will collaborate closely with various internal teams, including outside sales, sales support, order processing, sales engineering, marketing, and service delivery, to ensure a cohesive and positive customer journey from initial quote to final activation and ongoing support.
- • A key aspect of your role will be strategic account planning. This includes developing comprehensive account profiles, formulating effective account strategies, and executing all necessary tasks to foster a superior customer experience. By deeply understanding each client's business objectives and operational requirements, you will be instrumental in positioning GTT's services as essential solutions.
- • The role demands a proactive sales approach, actively developing a sales funnel through consistent communication via phone, email, and other channels. You will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and securing new revenue streams within your assigned accounts by capitalizing on up-selling opportunities, responding to marketing promotions, and addressing expiring services and contracts.
- • You will manage the entire order lifecycle for customer requests, including moves, adds, changes, and disconnects. Ensuring the timely and accurate completion of these orders, to the customer's utmost satisfaction, is paramount.
- • Continuous monitoring of assigned account activities, such as customer alerts, trouble tickets, and billing adjustments, will be crucial. Your ability to research, facilitate, and resolve issues promptly will directly impact customer satisfaction and retention.
- • A significant part of your contribution will involve generating new sales from existing GTT customers. This requires a keen sense of urgency, a commitment to responding to inquiries within established timeframes, and the persuasive ability to present solutions that clearly articulate their benefits in relation to the client's business goals.
- • For the UK Silver SMB segment, you will specifically target and manage accounts with Monthly Recurring Revenue (MRR) between £0-£4K. This involves executing outbound call campaigns, proactively managing Out-Of-Term (OOT) circuits, strategically raising rates where appropriate, and managing customer database campaigns as directed by your line manager.
- • You will play a critical role in revenue assurance by reviewing churn reports, contacting at-risk clients, and ensuring the accuracy of "Reason Codes" for service changes. Your proactive engagement will be key to saving revenue and maintaining client relationships.
- • Responding to account queries regarding service upgrades, changes, and ceases will be a daily task, requiring efficient and accurate quote and order entry within our CRM system.
- • The role is driven by a passion for promoting GTT's products and services, with a clear objective to close as many new, upgrade, and renewal deals as possible. Building strong, trusting relationships with clients is fundamental to expanding current business and achieving ambitious sales targets.
- • You will also be responsible for performing various sales-related administrative functions as requested by your line manager, ensuring the smooth operation of the sales process.
