This hybrid role offers a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of innovation, working with a platform trusted by global giants like OpenAI, the World Health Organization, and the Associated Press.
- • As an SDR at Ironclad, you will be the crucial first point of contact for prospective customers, embodying our commitment to exceptional customer experience. Your primary mission will be to identify and qualify sales opportunities, driving revenue growth by connecting potential clients with our groundbreaking contract lifecycle management (CLM) solution. This role is ideal for someone early in their sales journey who possesses strong communication and relationship-building skills, and a passion for showcasing how cutting-edge technology can solve complex business challenges.
- • Your day-to-day will involve a strategic blend of proactive outreach and meticulous lead management. You will be responsible for managing inbound leads with a process-oriented approach, ensuring swift engagement and high conversion rates. This requires a deep understanding of our product suite and the ability to articulate its value proposition in a compelling manner, tailored to the specific needs of each prospect. You will conduct qualification calls using a consultative approach, delving into a prospect's business challenges and demonstrating how Ironclad can provide tangible solutions and significant ROI.
- • Key responsibilities include:
- • Proactively engage with inbound leads, ensuring timely and effective follow-up to maximize conversion potential and deliver an outstanding initial customer experience.
- • Conduct thorough qualification calls, employing a consultative sales methodology to uncover prospect needs and effectively position Ironclad's value proposition.
- • Develop a deep understanding of Ironclad's platform, its features, benefits, and how it addresses common pain points in contract management.
- • Build and nurture a pipeline of interested prospects, identifying the optimal time to transition qualified leads to Account Executives for further engagement.
- • Leverage essential sales tools, including Salesforce (CRM) and Outreach (sales engagement platform), to meticulously track activities, manage your pipeline, and execute daily tasks with precision.
- • Collaborate closely with the sales and marketing teams to refine lead generation strategies and contribute to the development of our sales playbook.
- • Actively identify areas for process improvement within the lead qualification and nurturing stages, contributing to the continuous scaling of our inbound sales motion.
- • Maintain a high level of organization and attention to detail in all aspects of your work, from CRM data entry to prospect communication.
- • Develop strong product knowledge and market understanding to effectively communicate Ironclad's competitive advantages.
- • Foster positive and productive relationships with potential clients, establishing trust and credibility from the very first interaction.
- • Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment, sharing insights and best practices with fellow SDRs and the wider sales organization.
- • Embrace a growth mindset, continuously seeking opportunities to learn, develop new skills, and advance your sales career within a rapidly evolving industry.
- • Understand the broader sales process and how the SDR role contributes to the overall success of the sales organization.
- • Represent Ironclad with professionalism and enthusiasm, acting as a brand ambassador in every interaction.
- • Analyze prospect interactions to identify trends and provide valuable feedback to internal teams, helping to shape product development and marketing efforts.
- • Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities to better position Ironclad's unique offerings.
- • Develop effective communication strategies for various channels, including email, phone, and video conferencing.
- • Demonstrate resilience and a proactive approach to overcoming challenges and achieving targets.
- • Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement by actively participating in training sessions and team meetings.
- • Help to build the company you want to work at by contributing your ideas and energy to Ironclad's mission.
- • This role is based in our San Francisco office, with a hybrid work model requiring in-office attendance three days per week (Tuesday-Thursday). Additional in-office days may be scheduled for team or company events. Ironclad is recognized as a leader in the industry, consistently earning accolades such as a Leader in the Forrester Wave and Gartner Magic Quadrant for Contract Lifecycle Management, a Fortune Great Place to Work, and one of Fast Company’s Most Innovative Workplaces.
