- • Source and research ideal accounts based on the ideal customer profile (ICP), including industries, headcount, revenue, and tech stack.
- • Identify decision-makers and create accurate, verified contact lists for targeted outreach.
- • Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences using email, LinkedIn, and phone to engage potential clients.
- • Book qualified discovery calls for Account Executives (AEs) by initiating first-point-of-contact interactions with prospects.
- • Maintain clean, up-to-date records in Salesforce and SalesLoft to ensure accurate pipeline tracking and reporting.
- • Collaborate with the sales team to test messaging, refine targeting criteria, and implement feedback loops for continuous improvement.
- • Track and report weekly KPIs including emails sent, open rates, reply rates, and meetings booked.
- • Stay current on industry trends, client case studies, and Blacksmith Agency’s core service offerings in WordPress design and development.
- • Conduct research to understand prospect pain points and align outreach with their business needs and digital goals.
- • Use tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, ZoomInfo, and SalesLoft to execute high-volume, high-quality outreach.
- • Operate with precision and accountability, avoiding spammy tactics in favor of thoughtful, personalized communication.
- • Work directly with the Director of Business Development and the broader sales team to align outreach strategy with business development goals.
- • Contribute to optimizing the sales funnel by analyzing what messaging and targeting yield the highest conversion rates.
- • Maintain a proactive, self-driven approach to meeting daily and weekly outreach volume targets without sacrificing quality.
- • Represent Blacksmith Agency as the first point of contact for potential enterprise and mid-market clients.
- • Adapt communication style to resonate with directors, marketing managers, and C-level executives across various industries.
- • Participate in team reviews to refine outreach cadences and improve overall sales development effectiveness.
- • Leverage data from Salesforce and SalesLoft to identify patterns in successful outreach and apply insights to future campaigns.
- • Demonstrate curiosity and coachability by actively seeking feedback and rapidly implementing improvements.
- • Operate in a fully remote environment with flexibility in scheduling while maintaining consistent performance and availability.
- • Contribute to building a scalable, repeatable sales development process that supports agency growth.
🎯 Requirements
- • 2 years in a similar SDR or BDR role
- • Strong written communication skills with ability to personalize outreach and speak in Blacksmith Agency’s tone
- • Familiarity with outbound tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo, and ZoomInfo
- • Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline
- • Gritty, curious, and coachable, with a track record of seeking feedback and implementing it quickly
- • Confident speaking with directors, marketing managers, and C-level executives
