  • • As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) at UpGuard, you will be at the forefront of our growth, playing a pivotal role in identifying, engaging, and qualifying new sales opportunities for our cutting-edge Cyber Risk Posture Management (CRPM) platform. This is a dynamic and challenging position for a driven individual with an inquisitive mind, an excellent phone presence, and a passion for the art of outbound prospecting. You will be instrumental in fueling the sales pipeline, directly contributing to UpGuard's mission of protecting the world's data by enabling organizations to find, acknowledge, and remediate cyber risk with AI-driven precision.
  • • Your primary responsibility will be to generate high-quality leads through proactive outreach. This involves meticulously researching target accounts, identifying key decision-makers within those organizations, and crafting compelling, personalized messaging across various channels, including cold calls, emails, and social media. You will be expected to understand the unique pain points and security challenges faced by potential customers and articulate how UpGuard's innovative platform can provide elegant, robust solutions.
  • • You will engage in meaningful conversations with prospects, asking insightful questions to uncover their needs and assess their fit for UpGuard's offerings. This consultative approach is crucial, as we aim to build trust and establish UpGuard as a valuable partner in their cybersecurity journey, rather than just a vendor. Your ability to effectively communicate the value proposition of our AI-augmented CRPM platform, which integrates security ratings, threat intelligence, and agentic AI, will be key to your success.
  • • A significant part of your role will involve qualifying these leads based on established criteria, ensuring that the opportunities passed to the Account Executive team are well-vetted and have a high probability of conversion. This requires a keen understanding of the sales process and the ability to discern genuine interest and potential from initial interactions.
  • • You will work closely with the Account Executive team, providing them with detailed insights and context on each qualified opportunity. This collaborative relationship is essential for a seamless handover and to ensure the sales team is equipped with the necessary information to close deals effectively. Your feedback will also be invaluable in refining our prospecting strategies and understanding market trends.
  • • In this role, you will be immersed in a fast-paced, AI-augmented sales environment, leveraging UpGuard's advanced technology to enhance your prospecting efforts. You will have the autonomy to experiment with new outreach strategies and contribute to the continuous improvement of our sales processes.   • • UpGuard is not just building another security tool; we are defining a new category in Cyber Risk Posture Management. As an SDR, you will be a crucial part of this mission, helping organizations navigate the complexities of third-party risk and internal security posture. Your efforts will directly contribute to our record-breaking growth and our goal of processing 100 billion risk signals daily.
  • • You will be expected to maintain a high volume of outbound activity while ensuring the quality and effectiveness of each interaction. This includes meticulous record-keeping in our CRM system, tracking your progress, and analyzing your performance to identify areas for improvement. We believe in data-driven decision-making and encourage our SDRs to be proactive in seeking out insights from their activities.
