📋 Description

• As a Forward Deployed Engineer at Workato, you will design, develop, and deploy advanced AI agentic solutions that are autonomous, proactive, and adaptive, directly enabling customers to streamline complex workflows using the company’s AI-powered platform.
• Your day-to-day responsibilities include implementing agent-based AI solutions, building Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems, developing intelligent workflows with multi-agent collaboration, optimizing LLM performance through prompt engineering and memory management, and troubleshooting scalable AI architectures.
• You will work closely with customers to understand their use cases and deliver tailored, scalable solutions while ensuring alignment with both technical and business needs, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI workflows into existing IT systems.
• The role offers opportunities to contribute to product development, support internal knowledge sharing, and grow expertise in AI engineering, integration platforms, and enterprise automation within a fast-growing, innovation-driven company trusted by 400,000+ global customers.

🎯 Requirements

• BTech/BE or higher in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related technical field
• 4+ years of relevant experience in design, development, and implementation of technical solutions
• 1+ year of hands-on experience with Workato or a similar integration/orchestration platform
• Proven experience in AI engineering with a focus on agent-based systems
• Strong working knowledge of APIs (RESTful, SOAP/XML), data structures (JSON), and RDBMS/NoSQL databases
• Hands-on experience with Java, Python, or Ruby
