- • As a Sales Intern, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our dedicated Account Executives in their mission to generate robust sales pipelines and successfully convert deals across the European market. This internship is meticulously designed for individuals who are eager to learn, possess a natural curiosity for business development, and are keen to immerse themselves in the intricacies of the sports industry's commercial side. You will be an integral part of the EMEA sales team, actively participating in pipeline building, supporting the entire deal lifecycle, and providing essential ad-hoc analysis and coordination that ensures our sales operations run with maximum efficiency and effectiveness.
- • Your responsibilities will span across several key areas, beginning with **Pipeline Generation**. You will be instrumental in assisting Account Executives to identify and meticulously research prospective clients, including prestigious clubs, influential leagues, and governing federations throughout Europe. This involves executing targeted outbound prospecting campaigns, which will include crafting compelling cold outreach messages, leveraging LinkedIn for professional networking, and developing effective email sequences designed to generate high-quality, qualified leads. Furthermore, you will be responsible for qualifying both inbound and outbound leads, ensuring that our sales funnel remains healthy and robust across the entire region. A crucial part of this role involves assisting in the meticulous preparation for crucial client interactions, such as discovery calls and product demonstrations, as well as managing follow-up communications to nurture potential business relationships.
- • Beyond initial lead generation, you will be deeply involved in **Deal Support & Sales Execution**. You will provide comprehensive support to Account Executives throughout the entire sales cycle. This includes conducting in-depth research on potential clients, contributing to the preparation of persuasive proposals, assisting with responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs), and diligently maintaining the accuracy and hygiene of our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system. Your role will extend to helping prepare highly tailored presentations and essential supporting materials that are critical for successful client meetings. You will also be tasked with diligently tracking the progress of deals, proactively flagging any updates or potential roadblocks to ensure accurate forecasting and maintain clear pipeline visibility for the sales leadership team.
- • To further enhance our strategic efforts, you will contribute to **Ad-Hoc Analysis & Team Support**. This involves conducting thorough market research and competitive analysis to uncover new business opportunities and to inform our regional sales strategy. You will be involved in building and maintaining essential sales reporting and tracking tools, such as spreadsheets and dashboards, to provide actionable insights. Additionally, you will support the broader sales team by undertaking various administrative tasks, ensuring accurate data entry, and facilitating cross-functional coordination with other departments. As opportunities arise, you will also contribute to internal projects, as assigned by Sales leadership or the Strategy & Operations team, offering a broad exposure to different facets of the business.
