Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • Join GenScript, a global biotechnology leader founded in 2002 and publicly listed (Stock Code: 1548.HK), as our next Sales Operations Specialist. Operating under the ProBio division, you will sit at the intersection of data, strategy, and commercial excellence, empowering a high-performing sales organization that accelerates breakthrough therapies from discovery to commercialization.
- • Own the end-to-end analytics engine for North American commercial operations. You will design, build, and maintain KPI frameworks that measure rep productivity, territory penetration, win/loss rates, and revenue velocity across plasmid, viral vector, and cell-therapy CDMO services. Translate raw CRM and ERP data into concise, board-ready narratives that spotlight trends, risks, and growth levers.
- • Architect and curate executive dashboards in Salesforce and BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, or Looker) that refresh in near real-time. These dashboards will become the single source of truth for VPs, directors, and field reps—driving daily decisions on quota allocation, resource deployment, and pricing strategy.
- • Serve as the CRM guardian and power-user. You will configure custom objects, page layouts, validation rules, and workflows to mirror evolving business processes; perform quarterly data audits to maintain >95 % accuracy; and roll out lightning-fast enhancements that reduce sales admin time by 20 %.
- • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders—Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Legal—to streamline the quote-to-cash cycle. You will map bottlenecks in CPQ (Configure-Price-Quote), contract redlining, and invoicing, then launch targeted process fixes that compress cycle time and improve customer experience.
- • Lead monthly “Win Lab” sessions where you dissect recent deals (both won and lost) with account executives. Use statistical models and qualitative feedback to codify best-practice playbooks that lift win rates and average deal size.
- • Drive territory and quota design for the fiscal year. Leverage TAM (Total Addressable Market) analytics, historical performance, and white-space mapping to recommend equitable quota assignments and balanced patch coverage.
- • Champion change-management for every new sales tool or process. Create quick-reference guides, host live training webinars, and embed just-in-time learning inside the CRM to ensure 100 % adoption within 30 days of launch.
- • Maintain strict compliance with FDA, EMA, and HIPAA regulations governing customer data. You will implement role-based access controls, audit trails, and quarterly security reviews that exceed industry standards.
- • Contribute to the global Sales Operations community of practice. Share templates, code snippets, and lessons learned with counterparts in Europe and APAC to foster a culture of continuous improvement and standardization.
- • Report directly to the Director of Commercial Operations while enjoying the flexibility of a fully remote U.S. base. Occasional travel (up to 10 %) to scientific conferences or HQ summits will keep you connected to the broader GenScript mission of making humans and nature healthier through biotechnology.
🎯 Requirements
- • 3+ years of hands-on experience in sales operations, revenue operations, or business intelligence within life-science, pharmaceutical, or biotechnology sectors
- • Expert-level proficiency with Salesforce CRM—certified Admin or Advanced Admin strongly preferred
- • Advanced Excel / Google Sheets and SQL skills; experience with Tableau, Power BI, or Looker for dashboard development
- • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Life Sciences, Data Analytics, or related discipline
- • Nice-to-have: familiarity with CDMO or CRO business models and regulated environments (FDA, EMA, GxP)
🏖️ Benefits
- • Competitive base salary of $70,000–$80,000 plus annual performance bonus
- • 100 % remote work flexibility with home-office stipend and co-working allowance
- • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance starting day one
- • 401(k) with company match and immediate vesting
- • Annual professional-development budget ($2,500) for certifications, conferences, or courses
